I actually enjoyed going to yoga classes. I learned how to breathe properly, how basic poses are supposed to feel and that yoga isn’t supposed to hurt. A lot of time people think yoga is painful because they are forcing themselves into postures they aren’t ready for and don’t the modifications. I really love your channel. It’s allowed me to continue my practice at home. My favorite are the challenges I redo them.
So I’ve completed your 7 day challenge. I definitely should’ve taken pics of myself. I’m so stiff that I could barely do some of the poses. Im going to keep trying. Thank you for the advice
Glad i watched this... one of the reason I’m not consistent: watching others and get discouraged so i stop! I will keep that in mind and just focus on my own journey! 🧘🏽♀️
So funny, I was recently telling a family member I may need to buy a small space heater (and contribute a little on the bill) because I feel so cold, sometimes I don’t even want to begin my workout.
I just started doing yoga consistently about 2 1/2 months ago, so thank you for this advice! As a beginner, your channel has been an incredible find and I look forward to practicing with you each and every day!
Arianna Elizabeth!!! You come through with the yoga vids and now you come through with sage tips (wisdom) and I thank you. I agree with all of them and particularly love no comparison to others and dress (outfits) and play the role (invest in a mat - thanks for that vid too). I now own a Sugarmat and it makes a difference even from my previous mat used for Bikram. You are making this journey of mine to greater flexibility an enjoyable one. Reminder to self: set up to take more vids so I can see my improvements. Thank you Arianna Elizabeth. You continue to be a blessing!
First off, your hair is CUTE ! Come on twists! Lol but secondly, you are the only person I watch for my yoga exercise. Thanks sister in Christ! Proud of you.
I love this video, there’s so much great advice here! I always tend to get bored after about a week or two so I’m going to try taking photos and seeing how that works in keeping me engaged.
these tips were SO helpful, I've started taking pictures and it was very inspiring to see my progress in the short time I've been practicing! thank you so much for this! 💛
Just found your beginner morning yoga video and I'm so glad you made this video for beginners too! I already feel so much more confident and connected to my body and am excited for this journey
so much great advice! but a big amen on dressing the part, i love my yoga outfits! i have even diy'd some of my tops! walmart has some nice high waisted leggings as well. i tell all of my friends about you so congrats on the way to 100K
Thank you for this - I'm fairly new to your channel and love it! My tips would include watching a new yoga video all the way through to check that the postures are right before starting/to know which parts to adapt. As someone with a weak lower back, I'm always checking for anything that may affect it.
I promise I’m not gonna comment on every single video you post! But I will say I love the tip about using props. I found that the blocks are really helpful for me. I would love to see more poses where blocks could be useful. Maybe not in one of your classes. But like a how to video. So when I do take the class I know I could utilize the blocks in that manner whether you show/say it or not.
Girl PLEASE do comment! Haha I love it!! 🥰 Also this is a great idea. I actually was sitting here thinking about what video I should film next. This is helpful!!! THANK YOU
Hi, so glad to find you, Saved Yogi! Have you made a video to share the poses and teach us newbies what they are and how they should feel? That would help me follow along. Can’t really “take my time” or I’ll get behind your pace, and what’s next... 😁😌 Thanks! And thanks for this practical tips video.
Since I was young I’ve been very fond in yoga, but not the physical one, and in time to time I use to do some asanas and ended with some injuries. I remember a hip injury that cost me one year of healing, and now I’m recovering from a back one. Thanks for your video and explanation. I just wanted to be one more testimony to show that asanas should be done consciously.
Ok, don't judge me but yes, I splurge on my yoga mats and my exercise clothes, PROPS SAVE LIVES (I work in healthcare so trust me, use the props people!), and I like to practice in my apartment in my den room where there is a lot of natural light coming in. I've done yoga group classes and I find they are a waste of money and they move too fast through the poses in order to finish the class in a certain amount of time. I agree with everything in this video that you say! And I will start taking photos because you're right about seeing those little positive micro changes in your body as you progress that can help with motivation!
I like your advice on yoga I started yoga practice in a gym until it closed now I practice with your videos I still cannot do a lot of poses yet but I do what I can yoga clothes are nice but people like me don't have the smaller bodies for those clothes we would stand out to much in a yoga class with people who are slimmer but I do enjoy the practice
Hi there, I just started following along with your yoga videos recently. Is it normal for my physiological response to be anxious when I’m doing yoga? I feel my body become super anxious and tense when I’m trying different poses or stretches. I believe it’s going to be a mental battle to concentrate fully. However, I love your videos and will keep incorporating them into my morning routine !
Yoga started that way for me too @arianafnieves but what I found as I continue to practice with Ariana Elizabeth that I got to know my body how to relax in to the poses and now Yoga Studio is my anxiety is like relaxing therapy to me
Thanks for sharing the tips and tricks! As a beginner yogi I do find myself comparing and feeling like I should be able to do more with my body. Thank you reminding us that yoga is a journey.
Your voice is sooo soothing!! I have been enjoying your videos, but this one right here is what I needed to hear especially on this Full Moon~ Very affirming to my yoga journey! Much love & blessings to you!!
Thank you for these awesome tips! I'm starting up yoga again after a while. I always thought something was "wrong" with my body because I couldn't do a lot of poses, especially floor ones. Turns out, my arms are just WAY too short for some poses; by a solid couple inches or so! That's when I saw people recommending blocks and props! I feel absolutely no shame in using them! Everyone is different, from where they start to how their bodies are built! Thanks again for the video!
I've been enjoying your videos, giving me the challenge I've been looking for! Do you have a video on knowing how to tell if you're doing the poses/moves correctly?
Have just ‘found’ you.. so hi from UK. I loved this intro. Not too many folks spell out blocks etc in such a way and so we feel like we’re failing using them. Thank u x
#arianna you and your videos have made my yoga journey and practice so much easier. As a woman of a “certain vintage” Mother Nature takes care of my heating issues, but I’m with you on the “cute outfits” advice!
Props 4 LYFE. This is such a helpful video Arianna - thank you. 🤍 your yoga outfits inspired me to get some of my own. Feels so good to feel cute while doing my practice.
omg of course! i love wearing tight yoga clothes, such as a sports bra and shorts/leggings. but i am always too cold and it prevents me from wanting to do yoga at all. using a space heater is soo smart! i already have one!! thank you!
I've just started stretching/ short yoga classes daily for the past two weeks and have been feeling absolutely amazing, its encouraged me to eat healthier too! I just found your channel and cant wait to devour all you have to offer on here and of course see your journey to the top!
I really appreciate this video. I did yoga consistently (once a week) back in 2019. But that was when I went to a yoga class. I tried to do it everyday last summer but that didn't last long. I'm hoping to get back into the once a week practice at home. I appreciate these tips. I'm definitely getting props this time. When it comes to the competition, I feel like I'm competing with my 2019 self. And I think I can go deeper and longer like back then. I'm learning compassion and grace with myself. Starting from scratch physically.
