Only way to save money and live the way you want to live is to send down 2-3 barrels of everything you'll need before you go down. Food prices will kill you down there especially foods that "foreigners" are used to eating.

Annesha what you doing in Canada? For a moment I thought you moved back. Tell me something, why are you still using a travel agent in this day and age when you can book your flights online? I've seen that thing (your sister showing you in the store calling cerasie) in the stores here in Florida, but the common cerasie fruit not that big. That must be a different variety of the regular cerasie. Annesha, bear in mind that Jamaica has to import all those things, that's why they are so expensive. I bought a fridge here in Florida for around US$499 with the wire shelves. The glass shelf model of the same model was around US$599. My sister bought the same model glass shelf one in Jamaica and paid way over JND$100,000 for it. We both live here in Florida and she has a vacant house in Jamaica that we all use when we go home. Last year, when I went there, her TV wouldn't work, so bbn I went to Courts to buy another one as a gift for her. I got her a nice 43" LED smart TV for over JMD$70,000. When I came back to Florida, I saw the same TV for US$299.99. You have to understand that they don't make them in Jamaica, so they have to import them and double, or even triple the price to make a profit. I see you have Cosco, Walmart and Ikea in Canada just like in America. The prices up there might be a bit cheaper than here though because the Canadian dollar values less than the American. How come you haven't emailed me so we can become friends? I'm not looking you you know - just want to make friends and probably link up when I come to Jamaica. I will soon move back to Jamaica too and convert my property into an Airbnb business - just waiting to expand the property some and sort out a few other things first. The reason prices are more expensive in Jamaica is because of more selling pressure on the Jamaican Dollar.

Cost of living is different in both countries doesn’t make sense to compare prices

At last am seeing a vlogger from Canada. Am so tired of the too many Americans bloggers which most of them chat pure shit about BBL, LIPO and Clothing Haul which is getting really boring. What makes me laugh is that some women was born with square backside and following others getting a round ass which makes them looks so bloody fake.
