Using the ASUS ZenScreen Touch MB16AHT as a DAW controller for Reaper. Bandcamp: spieglass.band... Spotify: open.spotify.c... Instagram: / spieglassofficial #asus #reaper #dawcontrol
There is a setting that makes the scale of everything bigger. So while it makes the scroll bar bigger, everything else is. That was fine for me since I have a big monitor.
@@spieglass3211thank you for the fast response :) Do you still use this touchscreen combined with the stream deck or did your setup change? I’m currently migrating from Studio One to Reaper, just ordered a stream deck and am curious about whether the faderport 16 is still the best option… would love to get some insights from you 🙏🏽
@@antonhamacher I still have the screen, but I moved to an Icon Pro G2. I started to miss the touch of buttons and realized I work better with a mixing DAW controller. So the combination of that and a Stream Deck have everything covered for me.
@@spieglass3211 @antonhamacher For PC users, I've stumbled upon a way to increase the scroll bar without resizing everything else. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3bZXDL7Hvr0.html
Cool! Is there a way you could use multi-finger gestures for scrolling etc? Also, I assume that as long as the touch screen is behaving like a mouse, moving/toggling multiple faders/controls/buttons at the same time is not a possibility.
I've done a lot of research and it says "Reaper doesn't support multitouch" everywhere. So you're correct as far as I know, you can only move one item at a time. Since faders was the only thing I would move more than one at a time, it's a small loss. I rarely did that anyway.
I'm 99% sure a pen/stylus should work the same as a finger and mouse pointer like any touchscreen would. I think some models of Asus touchscreens come with one, this one doesn't.
