Learning to crawl my 98 Toyota Tacoma during its first outing on 39 inch tires. We discover that the gearing is not low enough, making it difficult to rock crawl. High horse power Jeep snaps an axle on super hard obstacle and needs two winch lines in order to recover. Thanks to‪@DirtLifestyle‬ for the invite to join these guys on a trip to Elbe hills!

my bad I had to quickly re-render this video and upload and i guess i rendered out a chunk of blank screen and then some left over footage from the edit. I cut it out using the RU-vid editor but it takes a few hours to process.

I’m curious what your t-case and gearing setup is? I run 5.38’s with dual cases 2.28/4.7’s and have zero issues crawling with 43’s.

Looks like gearing is a big part of the issue Max..you shouldn't have to feather the clutch so much if you can just put it in low and stay in first gear. Regear!
