This is an interesting build, I keep my XO-1 on road most of the time i wish i could find another complete XO-1 a V2 version or convert my current one to a V2 since i've put so much work into mine. I also stripped the stock pinion on mine too after i put the steel spur one mine. Hope you have a great day where you are.
@@Deezingtom I'm not sure what i want to do yet, I might just do the conversion since it's cheaper and i get to paint my own body instead of getting a prepainted one with a complete V2 roller.
Hello, nice idea and mod. Im hesitating also change my XO and transform it into rally. I just finished Typhon 6S rally mod with delta plastic lancia body etc...and i have no straight place to run my XO-1, so hesitating also. I have spare Vxl6s esc from my Sledge where i placed max6 esc. For rallye will be way better than the stock XO-1 esc which is not watter proof. Dirt in the car i see is still there...what about some size of Dusty motors cover? I can try the size which i have for the Sledge and let you know. Im realized, that rally platform is the best for casual driving.
Hello, thank you!!. Nice to hear I inspire you for a new project I would say go for it, sometimes it's hard to find a suitable terrain for the XO-1. I use a old used vinyl record as a mudguard but I would love to hear from you if the Traxxas Sledge dusty motors cover fits nicely on the XO-1. The vinyl record does work well but I'm open for new ideas and improvements. The traxxas sledge motor and esc perform well in the XO-1 its still fast and if you dont use a big gear it's still great and does not get hot at all. Thank you for you're comment it makes me feel great to know people are interested❤️
