Very nice! I live about ten minutes away from the Dew Drop Jazz Hall. Looks like a great trip y’all had. I drive across that 24 mile long bridge ALL THE TIME.
Thanks for that travelogue Wolfgang. I take for granted the sights and sounds of New Orleans having lived only a 3 hour drive away for the past 50 years. New Orleans is like a second home to me I have visited it so many times over the years. Seeing the efforts it takes others to travel halfway around the globe to get here makes me appreciate being so close.
Spent a year touring America in an old Winnebago. Missed this due to bad weather, twister etc, this makes me really want to go back again. Thank you for a great video, excellently put together .

Wow! what a great compilation! Our flights are still booked and waiting for FQF to be up and running. April 2020 was cancelled and 2021 looks doubtful. Cant wait to see TS for real.👍
Your odds of seeing Tuba Skinny can be quite slim; like a lot of groups that appear in New Orleans, Tuba Skinny travel the world over. They show up in California, France, Canada, New York and a host of other places. They are good and fun to listen, dance too. Right now, their schedule card is empty so I have no idea what is up with the band. You might check tubaskinny.com/schedule from time to time. Hope there is a French Quarter Fest this year and they play.
I went to New Orleans in 2012 but had sadly not heard of them. I went again in 2014, was smitten with them but it was a short trip and I only saw them once. I went a final time in 2017, saw them 5 times BUT Erica had just had a baby so that was a bit unfortunate (for me) but I still enjoyed seeing them again. Age, ill health and distance will probably prevent me having a fourth visit. Very grateful for all the videos posted.
