My Trip to the Strasburg Railroad Toy Store (Strasburg, Pennsylvania)

In July 2019, I stopped by the amazing Strasburg Railroad and got to see the incredible festivities that take place there on a daily basis. One of the highlights of my experience was the amazing gift shop right outside the train yard. There was an unparalleled amount of Thomas merchandise present along with a great selection of Brio and other brands of wooden railway toys. Hope you enjoy the tour!

I live only 50 minutes from Strasburg. The equipment there is amazing. Also fun fact the real train scenes from Thomas and the Magic Railroad were filmed there. Also the dummy Thomas’s used in the Day out with Thomas events were built there. They also have a full size steam powered Thomas.

Before it became steam operated, it acted like all of the Day Out With Thomas dummies and had to be pushed by a diesel back in 1998

I have visited the Strasburg Railroad, little red caboose motel, and the Railroad Museum Of Pennsylvania back when I was young child. But I do hope to come to Strasburg sometime in the near future.

0:13 Great Western 90. One of the four steam locomotives in operation at Strasburg. And also my favorite steam locomotive from the Strasburg Railroad.

I can't believe how much Thomas Wood of both variations is there. Obviously Mattle have given up on the stock in Australian shops. It's just so disappointing doing Thomas shopping in store now.

Awesome! I love Strasburg, the last time I was there was in 2021, I should have looked there at the corner where all of those minis were, I love Thomas and friends minis, I want to go again this year, and maybe I will.

There used to be a store across from the railroad devoted entirely to Thomas. When it opened it was one of only 4 places in the entire United States that sold Thomas stuff. It closed in like 2012. God I wish I could go back to 2004 and explore that store again cuz there was probably so much good 97-02 stuff there I didn’t even knew existed cuz I was too young

I’m visiting that railroad for my 16th birthday to see the Steam operated Thomas replica for Day Out With Thomas and I’ll also film the engines in action while I’m riding with Thomas on the rails and take a good look at him since he was Brooklyn Eastern District Terminal 0-6-0T #15

Can you do a episode called discovery of Neil. He will be in the scrap yard in a siding along with other engines like Glynn who will not be rescued and Theo as well as hurricane and Lexi in separate sidings and Sam is collecting a train at the scrap yard and quietly takes Neil with him
