On this Shop Talk video I'll be talking about my Harbor Freight Tubing Roller. It's a pretty low budget tubing roller, but with a few simple modifications, it's still a turd, but I'm able to roll DOM tube to work on the "No Regerts" RZR Buggy build.

I mean I have one and it's nice and didn't cost much at all and I can see what I'm doing when I spot stuff before I weld it up

Have you ever thought about putting a nut where the wheel is mounted so you can use the drill to roll the tube too? It might be easier on the arms?🤷🏼‍♂️

That wouldn't be a bad option but I would like to just build a whole new roller someday!

That's what I did to mine with a hydraulic on the top similar to swag set but I have a plasma cnc in the garage so built most of it.......but I have a variable speed foot switch to control my pipe threader to be slower and more precise on roller.....works great......now trying to figure how to roll 1.75 round tube with out buying a 1.75 die

I don't understand what is wrong with an auto shield 😕 so you can spot weld stuff with out turning your head and closing your eyes

Yes, Robert. I don't get it either. He has several high dollar nice welding helmets that I only see him wear when he has more welding to do. I do get that the helmet gets in the way when climbing around those tubes, but I wish he'd wear it more.

I have a very nice auto-darkening helmet and if I was going to be doing a bunch of welding or even a few tacks I grab it but for one or two it's not worth the trouble.

Is that a 1.75 tube in the 2" die that comes with the set? Jw cause I Wana roll 1.75 and I don't Wana spend $250 on the swag die set and I don't Wana wreck a tub just to try

The die that come's with it will work on thicker/stronger tube. 13 gauge will wrinkle.
