Your no rush, collected, fill with things that feed you/that you love approach, heirlooms, and love, have truly helped to create this - a home, not just a house! So refreshing to watch this type of content, where hauls from all those big box decoration stores are not needed... What you do, takes thought, effort, time, patience...and it shows in your home. I love that your grandparents used to live there! I am also a Quilter...methinks you need a few on those beds! Lol!

It reminds me of the Scandinavian style (which I love). I can tell so much thought went into every single detail. Gorgeous space for a gorgeous man inside and out! I just want to add, because being a native Canadian, we believe old furniture can house negative spirits. May I suggest you smudge your old furniture. Bowl, Sage, cedar, tobacco, or sweet grass will work. Just wave it over the furniture. Love your beautiful home. ❤❤

So well done Kaleb ! Loved hearing the thought process that created your perfectly functional space . Your pull out library shelves brought me back to my childhood . My Dad built the house I grew up in . He created a large pull out chopping board in the kitchen cabinets ! It was used endlessly . When I had a home of my own I had one put into my kitchen too ! Seeing yours made me smile !

I absolutely love everything. Being a person with some OCD tendencies, I need neatness even down to a book or magazine placement. I saw nothing that set me off at all, lol, which is a good thing. I have followed you from the beginning and love everything you do and you have taught me so much !! You could do anything, especially interior design !! You fit beauty to a persons needs and thats extremely important. You have taught me to show off the things I love and trash all the rest!!! And I cannot say enough about Kip, I feel like a proud uncle, he could be my baby. I followed, worried, prayed throughout his medical crisis. I felt for you and prayed for peace and strength for you throughout it all. I was thrilled to see Kip come back as good as he is, it is a miracle we witness everyday. The question I have is one that comes to mind going through your lovely home. Do you have a cleaning schedule? You work from home and your work revolves around the arts of cooking, gardening, and collecting. I would be appreciative of a guided tour sometime how you incorporate dusting, floors, and maybe even laundry. It would be meaningful to me and maybe others. Thank you.
I love, love, love built-in’s. Your home is beautiful. I’m happy to hear you built to suit yourself. Live in it, enjoy it. When sold in future anyone will build for themselves, removing what you did, so happy to hear you say that. I’m the same….
I love all the light with window additions and love the storage in the hall way and the bookcase in your office. The hall way becomes part of the office and gives a great open feel space. The bathroom with the window addition you mentioned is so valuable. I like to enter a bathroom in the daytime and not have to turn on a light. Thanks for sharing again.

Have followed your 2nd floor reno progress, fantastic it's finished! The new extra windows are brilliant - how did you ever live without them? LOVE the built-ins, can never have enough of those. It looks very cozy and functional, and the Oakmoss green is scrumptious. You can't beat having a "my little pony wall." Glad you had to put one in. Not everything that's dated is bad.

Noticed with the 2nd bedroom door, it looked as if the backside is painted same Moss color as walls and not white. Assuming it uniforms the walls within the room when the door is shut. Nice touch! 👍🏻

I do a lot of art installation with my business and find that 3M Command products are so useful. For small works of art you can use the velcro strips. They are easy to remove and change with no damage to walls. Great job with your remodel. It turned out beautifully.
