MY VERY FIRST CRUISE EXPERIENCE ON THE CARNIVAL BREEZE/WAS IT AWESOME?/WILL I EVER DO ANOTHER ONE? 

Good morning I have been on the Breeze ( and 3 Carnival and 4 Royal Caribbean ships) I will NEVER go back to Carnival. RC is 100x. Food is better, entertainment and things to do is better, ambiance, did I mention the food is better 😋😋 You don't have unattended kids running up and down the halls at midnight. RCL does cost more but is worth the experience! Glad you went

Chef I'm glad you took that next leap of adventure whether single or group. Take cruises on other ship lines, each ship is different and please keep posting your traveling adventures. I'll going on my 15th cruise Oct 30th for 6 days. Keep posting your fantastic cooking and traveling videos 📹 💙

I absolutely LOVE cruising! Before the pandemic my sister and I cruised every year for the last several years (primarily on Carnival because of the perks and bonuses we get). However, we were just talking a couple of days ago about how much we miss cruising so we want to start again next year since the virus outbreaks are minimal to none now on ships. Thank you for posting this and I’m glad you went!

My first cruise experience was in the Carnival Mardi Gras.(,March ). It definitely was a beautiful experience!! Went to the chef's table. Definitely planning another one soon!!

For me only like my balcony for serenity and Guys Burgers owned by Chef Guy Fieri. Cozumel was like going to Airline Flea Market.

Oh my gosh I was getting claustrophobia when you walked into your room and I can’t handle large crowds and noises either!…I’m freaking out too, lol 😂. A cruise is not for me 😉 but thank you for showing us!

Welcome to the cruise community I’m glad you enjoyed it. I still remember my first cruise like it was yesterday and now I’m hooked for life. One comment on the kids. Longer cruises on the bigger newer ships that cost a little more you see a lot less. I’ve been on Royal and Carnival and love them both but, definitely pay about $1000 more for Royal. Hope you have many more happy cruises 🚢 p.s. group cruises are a blast!!!

You are going to love it. You will want to stay on and never get off. I been on over 20 cruises love everyone. You can preload on cruise ship just like airlines. You should have gotten cabin with window. But first timer learn as you go. Have a great week.

I just come from Carnival valor October 13-17. I went to Mr.Sanchoz Beach club in Cozumel and the beach was beautiful with all you can eat Mexican food and all you can drink/alcohol for $55 and you have your own server. Mr Sancho Beach club Paradise Beach club nachi Beach club

I am like you Chef. Crowds stress me out. Never done a cruise because of that. I think if i did a cruise I’d get a room with a balcony because i would probably stay in it mostly except to eat! Who knows I’d order room service probably… 😂😂

I never got to do this so thank you for showing it to us. Hot sandy beach isn't my thing either. I would stay on the ship, walk around, enjoy the water, and nibble every food they have to offer. Ahh...Galveston. So many summers of my childhood...memories.

I love cruising.... Been on 5 or 6. Can't beat them with the meals, entertainment, comedy and "people watching". Note: the merchandise for sale on the Islands are priced because of the tourist.

Chef, I have found when traveling, the shops near the port are very expensive. I always go in the town to shop. I also always book my excursions with the cruise line. I never use those independent tours - they can be dangerous. Tip: you can order 2 of something in the dining hall. I have ordered 2 lobsters and my husband is famous for 2 desserts. 😅😂

Cruising can be one of the best vacations it's what you make of it but I love it I love it I love it I want to go on a cruise again myself Chef Jeffrey I wish I had known I would have been you your mate your shipping mate LOL

Some people have scooters to ride. They would take them to the casino. I not able to enjoy casinos. Casinos sometime have smoking.

Next time, you'll be more open to the adventure of travel. It is good you traveled with staying safe in mind. So many people don't. Yet, try to do some more exploring. Next time, maybe take a friend or love interest and you can explore as a team. Glad you had a good time on your first cruise!

I was helped with my roller Walker then signed up for handicapp . My daughter and I did one bag each. Take tip money if you need help. I got checked over by security too

I would wait a while before going on the Vista. It seriously needs to go through dry dock. I just sailed on her two days ago. She’s a great ship but needs a “tune up”. I had a nice sail but think she blew an engine.

Good morning my dear Chef J! OmG ur gonna have a great great great time!!!!! I remember my very first cruise. We went on the Royal Caribbean and I was in tears when I stepped on that ship. I absolutely loved it!!!!!!! Nothing compares to a cruise. It's just like a floating hotel and ur catered to for everything!!!!! The only thing ur required to do is shower eat and enjoy. It's easy peasy Chef!!! You'll enjoy. I guarantee. I can't wait to go back. We've been on like 6 already. Can't wait to go back!!!! Love ya💞 oh and be careful you might put on a couple pounds. Food was good . But they do not encourage taking food back to room. If you an older person ask for help in taking food with you.!

I love your cooking videos. I have been cruising since 1988. We live near Galveston. We are always sailing out of Galveston. We sailed on the Breeze once but it was when Hurricane Harvey hit Galveston. Our 7 day cruise became 13 days. Even thou I am a Royal Caribbean fan the Breeze staff were wonderful during this time. Breeze is a good ship.

Those are all cruise shops. You have to take an excursion to get to the real parts of Mexico

My husband and I took a cruise from Galveston on Thursday 10-06 to Monday 10-10 for 5 days. Only made one stop to Cozumel. We are now in isolation because we both tested positive for COVID. Be careful folks.

We had no off shop planned things. I got off Breeze one time road transport

On sea days they have a great brunch in the main dining room where you had you dinner

Chef Jeff, I love it when you take us along with you on your adventures. It's almost like I'm there but not. Continue doing things for you that makes you happy! Hey Chef. This is interesting for me cause I've never been on a cruise. I've always wanted to go on a cruise but I'm not sure now. I am a beach person so that's where I like to spend the majority of my time. I just had a nice beach vacation in Florida. Seems like your shopping experience was like mine and I refused to waste my money when I could get more quality stuff for better prices elsewhere. I'm about to watch your other video and see what you have to say about your experience. I'm hoping you'll share more about the food. I know that one dinner you enjoyed, but when you don't talk about the food at all I feel like you don't like it. 😅 That's viewing it as one chef to another.

Thanks for the tour chef. I have been on 2 cruises and it was very pleasurable. The ships have increased in sizes. I went in a family group which made it fun and interesting. Did you get to meet or make friends on your cruise? The food looked good. And everything looked clean. your cabin was nice even for the standard. I'm glad you had a nice time. Chef J just a word of advice. To me it's much more fun when a group of friends/relatives go even tho folks go on cruises alone too. I prefer groups.

Next time you can sign up for the Chefs Table Food Tasting" it's extra but they show you how they make dishes and they let you sample everything. It's like a cooking class.

Thanks for sharing! I went out on the Breeze it's maiden year to the Bahamas and Jamaica. I also went on another weekend cruise to Cozamel on a different ship ,the excursions make for a lot of fun and are really not that expensive. Carnival is a pretty good cruise line for the price

I love seeing first time cruisers! The Breeze is one of my favorites! Ship excursions are the best to explore the ports if you're new, got to have a plan for fun! I rarely go to the buffet, especially since the pandemic, Sea day brunch is free for breakfast and Tea Time and the deli are great also. I just got off the Carnival Magic and I am booking another cruise now! LOL!! 🤣

This is why I always say I want to go on a cruise. I’ve never been on one. This looks like so much fun. That Ship is Enormous! Chef Jeff, this is exactly the blessed way God wants us to Live🙏🏿

Jeff, you have to haggle for prices, don’t accept what they say. Ask for a discount or walk away. For cheap liquor try the duty free store in the country you’re in or try the duty free ship on board ship for discounts on liquor, cigarettes, cologne and makeup. Glad you enjoyed. Next time in Cozumel take a taxi downtown for cheap prices on jewelry.

I been to my only cruise in my lifetime in late May of this year until June 4th two weeks before my 41st birthday and man I had a blast I ate good went to towns outside the United States I'm planning on going on a cruise again

I will say this though, the towns you visited were considered a tourist spot and for that reason, the price of goods will be a bit higher and the towns people make their living this way. Chef Jeffrey, you definitely have to take a royal Caribbean cruise. Carnival is the party ship but a royal Caribbean cruise is a little more upscale.
