This question keeps popping up, so I'll address it here: I have a dusting/cleaning schedule in my Google Calendar (every 2 weeks), so it's not too difficult to keep things clean with minimal but regular maintenance :)

This is why i love this hobby so much, being able to see others display their own game collections is always incredible! I absolutely love how clean your display is, like i'm genuinely jealous at how well and thought out this is put together Emily, ahh! Lol. The Trails figures, nendos and games / steelbooks is a boost of serotonin, they're truly incredible, overall your collection / display is very aesthetically pleasing lol. The Playstation love is nice too :P
I love curated collections like yours!! It tells me so much about the collector in terms of what they value, what attracts them in games, etc- which is the reason I love this hobby so much. It's both an art collection and a reflection of the person, imho! This is great inspiration for me too- I have a much smaller collection but struggle in trying to find a way to display everything in an organized, aesthetically-pleasing way. I think you struck the perfect balance here, it's like a beautiful museum that I feel I could look through for ages. Thank you for sharing!!

There is so much here that you are showing that just screams "I need this" to me! The figurines you have are all amazing and the variety of collectors editions is really nice to see. The Mishy plush is a win (Tio would agree). You did a great job theming and laying out each of the shelves with gaming or platform specific things. I didn't even know Transistor had a collector's edition! Falcom, NIS and Gust are well represented here. Well done Emily, this is a lot of fun. Much of your gaming tastes and mine are very similar but of all things here I've learned here, I need more high quality statues/figurines.
Aww thanks, I'm glad to hear the collection didn't disappoint! And the Transistor CE was made through Limited Run awhile back but you can sometimes luck out and find good deals on the secondary market for it.
Wow this is awesome. I've never seen such elegance in a collection ever. You have the plushies, figurines & it so organized with your shelves. I also love the shelves. My collection is just 2 shelves & it's only games on there. Your collection is so neat & organized, girly touches on there too. It's so awesome to see that.

very cool display shelves and really great collection and arrangement. I like to display my games in alphabetical order by spine design. (i.e if collecting for PS2, I display all black labels together in alphabetical order. Then red labels all together in alphabetical order). This set up works well if concerned about aesthetics on a shelf. Especially if you collect PS3 games. The variation in spine labeling was crazy for that specific console.
Oh I've seen how horrendous the PS3 spines can get! 😂 Not too sure if I'll be able to collect for that console just yet, but who knows what the future may hold :)
I really liked your collection, and your shelves are very stylish. I envy your Cold Steel steelbooks, I missed out on purchasing them when they first became available. On a side note, I completely understand what you mean about rearranging your collection; for me, organizing my books in a creative and cool-looking way is almost as much fun as reading them.
Thanks! And collection organizing and curating is so fun. It's a lot like solving a puzzle in trying to figure out how to rearrange things when new additions come in.

I'm always so taken aback by the amount of upkeep that goes into our hobby. I just throw my crap together and hope for the best, but yours has a rhyme and reason. Brava.
Awesome collection, I really like how you organize everything by franchise and genre, plus the figures and collector's editions adds a nice touch. I really like the idea of having game shelves in a single corner, very different setup than mine (traditional book/game shelves that are side by side) so you can really appreciate everything you have more easily. I have a blast organizing my collection, everything is pretty much by alphabetical order and console, although with separate shelves for the few collector editions and figures I own. Lately, I started collecting strategy guides, game soundtracks and artbooks and have recently started a goal of hunting down every Final Fantasy guide. Looking forward to your future videos and game room corner updates =)

Nice collection, the way you've displayed the figures in front of the games looks really good! Also like how you've broke up the game areas with items like the Anubis statue Hoping to travel to Japan later this year, will definitely need to look out for fire emblem figures while I'm there, after see how good they look as part of your collection

Wow, your shelf game puts mine to shame 😍 really impressive collection! And I love circular accent on the shelves. It really catches the eye and breaks up the linearity that you usually get with mass shelving, wish I had room to put more shelves in. I actually just got my copy of FE Fates Special edition in the mail earlier in the week! I’m really glad I was able to finally lay hands on one before that gets impossible. Now that you’ve done a collection walkthrough, one question I’d love to hear your take on that I got from a friend recently is, if you could only rescue 10 collection items from a fire/had to choose 10 items to form the basis of your restarted collection, what would you choose? I really struggled with the question and narrowing it down, but I tried to break down a single item for different categories like, “the nostalgia/sentimental pick”, “the money value pick”, “the ‘this is likely irreplacable’ pick”, etc. would love to hear your thoughts! Great content as always!
Thank you! I really was pleased with how the shelves turned out too, especially for little display areas. And yay! I'm glad you were able to grab the special edition for Fates - it's really such a nice collection piece 😊 And gosh that is a really difficult question - I would probably prioritize by what has sentimental meaning and what would be difficult to replace. So a mix of those two most likely - I just can't say which 10 those would fit just yet lol.

The completionist in me really wanted to get Fates Special Edition just to have that physical copy of Revelation to complete my set of every US FE release, but now I'm thinking I may eventually try to get the special ed for Echoes, Three Houses, and the Awakening console bundle pack even though I have the games already. The special edition addiction is real 😄 And definitely! I didn't mean to put you on the spot with that involved of a question. Just wanted to throw the idea out there for maybe a future video or as a question for a future Q&A if you're doing another one. :)

I absolutely love the setup, As a huge trails of fan i love how you have everything displayed. working at a collectables store i always tried to collect for anything niche like the trails games that came through the doors. and its good to see someone with a sakuna of rice collectors lol. i never see that in anyones collection that i watch on youtube

I watch a handful of other RU-vid collectors, but your calming voice and relaxed attitude has been a great source of mood... enhancement? I can't get enough of your display! I absolutely love how you integrated figures into your gaming display. I'd like to add the Kotobukiya Rixia Mao figure was released. i love collections like these that are more focused and time is taken to display them well. Most video game collections i see are just hundreds of various games on a shelf.
Like the way you had the collector's editions as a backdrop to the figures, very nice and clean set up. I would love to put my games in genre order but I have too many games and I would overthink where to place some of them 😅

Can really see all the thought you put into your display and you have space left to grow 😊 I also organise my video games by genre and loosely by publisher thought I was the only one lol, it makes sense to me. It’s here (and so nice!) I find so many similarities between myself and you from interests to collecting “philosophy” - I also definitely want to collect the few albums I love + have themed shelves based on series. it’s really refreshing since most collectors I’ve come across usually don’t share those things with me lol
Love this video! I love how you display your collections by series and if I had the space in a game room, I think I’d totally do the same. I myself currently have all my figures in closets or sealed on top of my book cases because of lack of space. My video games are all by systems on different shelves in alphabetical order. An amazing setup, Emily! I know for me it's always nice to retreat to my game room at the end of a long day, if for nothing else to take a moment to admire your collection or pull an artbook off the shelf to thumb through. One Piece seems like quite the undertaking from a manga/anime perspective, but I've been looking for an anime to start watching so I think I'm going to give it a try since you've spoken highly of it a number of times 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

Great video and amazing collection! Highly recommend the display stands from Rose Colored Gaming for your handhelds. It's what I use for my handhelds and controllers. They're affordable and look great.
Great video. The shelves look great and I liked seeing the little nicknacks you had on each shelf. I used to display my games alphabetically. When I move and eventually get new shelves, I will probably do the same again. But I'm not exactly sure how I will display my collection, as I only get one small room in our apartment 😂 Gotta make it count! Really glad to see you have something that works for you!
Man, as a PC gamer I'm jealous of physicals! Last time I bought physical was like a decade ago when PC physicals was a thing lol. Thats definitely one advantage of being a console gamer. I do have few handhelds but not many physicals and for example on switch I only buy exclusives because I rather always play the better version on PC so I don't want to buy games twice. I'm usually very minimalistic so I don't like owning physical stuff but I gotta admit for games it feels nice and channels like yours definitely want me to collect games. Maybe I'm gonna collect for old handhelds too! 😄
This is loaded. Really like the Vita getting some love. The trails games are excellent. I also like that you have the green PSP think that one came with Metal Gear Solid. Them shelves look real sturdy very nice!

It's best to take One Piece in chunks! I started it back in grad school, I guess about 6 years ago? 😅 I'm almost caught up to the most recent episodes, at 999 right now haha. But binge watching it in chunks definitely helped get me to this point haha.
Aw man its nice to see someone else in the same boat as me with One Piece! Heard its so amazing and i've yet to hop into it because of the same reason, haha. It may be better to get through with reading the manga? At least that's probably the route i'll go first with it :o
Your display looks great, I really like your choice of shelving. Currently my collection is sitting in/on top of customizable cubbies. Which is fine for my games, but not so much for my SE's or art books. Thinking about upgrading.

I hope you can create a special space for your precious collectibles sometime soon! The NA version for the definitive edition unfortunately didn't come with a vinyl. The box just houses the artbook & game 😞 And yes my queen Nia will have a front & center spot soon hehe.
