I've had this vacuum since 2017, and now in 2023 it's time to get it sorted and working well once more! Let's see how this antique vacuum came out, and how it works now!

As a child I was familiar with this vacuum. My mother had one (household appliance were for the housewife back then). The paper bags were a buff colour with the Electrolux logo on it. It could blow and suck! Mother made me do the vacuuming and clean the stair carpet (remember carpet runners and the clips which needed adjusting) on a Saturday morning when all my friends were out having fun. I so wanted to use the blow end and throw the dust all over the living room. Happy memories. 😆

What a remarkable rose red ZA65! The Z refers to the international mathematical symbol for integer, & the A corresponds to the countries that use that plug & possibly other specs. Nice score!

I have the previous model the ZA62 from 1958, it's used on a regular basis, it's complete apart from the paper bag retainer. the sprayer bottle when new came with a bottle of carpet cleaner [we had the same cleaner when I was little]
