Let's get ready for a glamorous New Year's Eve (at home)! I thought it would be the perfect time to show you my collection of vintage gowns and formal wear. Most of these are thrifted, and a few are from Etsy, or a vintage shop. Which one should I wear for NYE??

Cool! I have a dress that looks like a “1940s school girl.” My great grandma who was born in 1941 calls my dress that. I am 11 and I love the 1950s, the 1940s, and the 1930s. I started wearing vintage clothes after wearing the dress my mom bought me a dress for me to dress up as Nancy Drew.

That black dress is stunning! My grandmother’s cousin Jennie did hand beading for several of the major designers in the 40’s - 70’s. All of the gowns are just beautiful.

The white strapless "cupcake" gown was THE classic PROM FORMAL in the FIFTIES. I love all the gowns but that princess gown is my fave. Second fave is absolutely the red mermaid dress which is gorgeous yet classy.

You have the most amazing luck in your thrifting! Beautiful dresses, especially that first 1940's one! I would say wear that one, but the one you purchased soon after that you haven't worn yet should maybe get a chance to be worn on New Years.

I gained some weight a couple years ago and I've been struggling losing it again and it's been really hard because I was much happier with my body like 20 lbs ago. Watching your videos and all the awesome clothes you show us and wear is really helping me embrace the present; I've collected vintage clothes since college and I feel like a lot of those old styles are really flattering and feminine and it's helping me embrace the present (ironically). I'm trying to hone in and be healthier all around, but it's really been helping me to dress for the body I have now and embrace all these silhouettes.

I cannot believe how many cool things you find thrifted. Your Goodwill and St Vincent de Paul are not equal to mine. All I can find is worn out stuff from Target and maybe Macy’s from 10 years ago.

Had to add, the blue and cream floral with the blue sash... So gorgeous! That blue is one of my favorite shades of blue! That being said, the red mermaid is SCREAMING New Years Eve, especially for the dumpster fire of a year it's been. You give 2020 the sassiest send-off you can!

I am continuously humbled and delighted by the good fortune you have in finding vintage treasures. I loved this video! What a gift and such a warm and cozy delight with my morning coffee during these gentle holidays. The hustle and bustle will return next year, with hope. Three dresses took my breath away, the first black sparkly gown, the navy blue estate sale find and the 80's does 50's black velvet. What to wear New Year's? They are all fabulous! OMG Laci, you look STUNNING in all of them!! You are so beautiful that it is so hard to pick just one! My favorites would have to be the Miss Elliette dress (evening cocktails night on the town dress) and the White Cinderella dress (Beautiful Christmas Snow Horse Drawn Sleigh Ride) but I think you should wear the Red Lilli Diamond Mermaid dress (Festive ring in the New Year dress!!). All of the gowns and furs were beautiful. This was one of my favorite shows. I love the red satin dress and gloves. I can't find many vintage gowns anymore but I see lots of vintage minks and fox from stores in Georgetown, Texas. Huge WWII/Korean war veteran retirement community here.

The black with rhinestones is the New Years winner in my opinion. I also GASPED when the red lace mermaid dress popped onto the screen, I mean WOW!!! Oh my goodness. What an amazing collection. This could be titled, " A Red Carpet Extravaganza"! As always you look absolutely divine. I just love them all. I think the floral dress with a light blue or white bolero jacket with fur collar would just lovely for a Winter event. The red dress is very sexy and still extremely elegant. You are very elegant. I don't know which one to pick for the Enchantment under the sea... You gals have so much fun with vintage fashions. As for we guys, I got myself, and my husband vintage cabana sets, short sleeve with terry cloth lining last year on eBay, and found new matching bathing suits at Target. Your credenza! We just took delivery on a matching piece with the same scalloped front sliding doors as our flat screen TV stand, We put a floating shelf above to sit a vintage TV indoor antenna on. Is your credenza vintage? Ours is new from West Coast Modern LA, they have a store here in Palm Springs, and they custom built it for us.

Hi Laci ☺️ Wow, all of the gowns are gorgeous! It’s hard to choose but I did have some favorites...The white one/cupcake I think you compared it to. Also the navy/deep blue, the white with the ice/pale blue florals and the very last one but really even these were hard to narrow down. I love them all!

I'm not an old fuddy duddy but to see you wearing a beautiful 'modest' dress that doesn't show too much flesh is great. These women who think showing 'everything' is sexy have no idea about the art of the 'allure' . You don't have to get everything out to look attractive. Lacie I take my hat off to you. Lovely dresses don't feel bad about the fur. Real fur and leather are way better for the environment than faux fur and faux leather. Many people living up north globally need fur attire to survive the climate, such as the mongolians.
