I just love your junk journal, I remember playing with the strings as a child and love how you have incorporated it on the little card. The 'relax' was such a wonderful touch. You put so much thought in to your pages Wenche and it really shows, thank you ever so much for sharing :) - Jeanette

The string work on the hands we call "cat's cradle," and we did this as children, as well, but I was never taught properly, and I didn't know the ending of it, or that it was called, "stairway to heaven." You brought back memories.

Oh Wenche, I absolutely love this journal…every page is so unique and has only YOUR SPECIAL TOUCH! There were a lot of surprises for me while watching it…..little things that I missed while going through it…….like at the end….when I saw that there was a little gift (the beautiful earrings) I ran to my craft room and opened the envelope….I love them!!!! Thank you so much for this truly special Journal….I'll treasure it always…it's just beautiful!!!! Big hugs xoxoxo

Such a gorgeous vintage shabby chic junk journal. So many unique ideas and things. It was funny you said that about the curtains, I have bought lace curtains from the thrift store thinking I would put them up in a room/window... but ended cutting them up for a project. So It made me laugh- I could just see your window curtain all cut out...lol tfs I know Lori will love it!! ~~MarieMac~~

What an amazing journal!!! Lori is a very lucky lady! There are so many unique details I love about this--avocado dye, wrapped signatures, cat's cradle--I used to play that a lot and could actually do the "stairway to heaven" but no longer!! Such a beautiful, thoughtful journal. I have to 'borrow' some of your sweet ideas. I'm a collector of trims and lace and I need to put them to use like this. I also have an embroidery machine that make free standing lace motifs. I will put my machine to use real soon! You have a wonderful gift of creativity!
