As always what you make is stunning. I had to laugh when you said you had 3 signatures but had to take one out as it was too big. I wrote exactly that on one of the groups I'm in and one lady commented and had a giggle about it. I have been watching you for years and this is only the 2nd time I have commented. I think I said the first time that you have very similar taste to me. I love my lace scraps box too and I have a journal I am keeping with all the laces I have and some are 40 yrs old. You said this one makes you think Pirate-y. I think it's the cover. It almost looks like a compass rose on an old map. It's def shabby...and, it's def super yummy! It's funny how minimal the embellishments are on the books that are used and seen, yet there are piles of books chock full of incredible laces just sitting on shelves...or worse, hidden in boxes! I know the gift is in making it and giving it. The notion just occurred to me as you were speaking about using this one. I love seeing your work! Simple, elaborate, whatever! Your skill and your taste are the magic combo, I'd say! 💓
Here I am 5 years after the fact looking at this journal that is so lovely. I wasn’t even on you tube when this was made hehe! I’m still watching journal videos trying to improve how to make mine. I always love your use of buttons! Tfs👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🦋🦋

As for the one you dont like ??? why , i think it is in keeping with the rest i really like it. This journal is so beautiful. I have just started with the journals and found decorating the pages in my own journal very relaxing. I am making a journal for a friend who has had a paper crafting block for some time. Hope it will pull her out. I will be returning to your video for some great tips.
