Of all the "my wars" I've watched, this is the one taht touched me most, and the only one that pushed me to comment. Maybe it's because Tommy looks older then the other skaters, his war was so high, and how he won it: 6 trys; and his samurai style artititude to the battle. We can only admire !

it may seem less impressive because it took not too many tries, but it just shows how much of a beast this guy is

PLEASE POST MORE OF THESE. i've always said that these are so much more entertaining than any skate video i've seen. because when you're watching a skate video and you're just seeing one crazy trick after another you start to get numb to it. and crazy tricks don't look that crazy. not only is this more entertaining but it makes you really appreciate what goes on behind the scenes.

I love the "My War" series. Seeing this type of behind the scenes -footage, the planning and bails makes it look so much gnarlier than just seeing the make in a video part.

Andrew Reynold's frontside flip in Stay Gold was pretty huge too. I know the set was only like a 16, but it was super long.

perfect flip, caught 90, gracefully brings it around and lands bolts, by far the best frontside flip i've ever seen. always come back to this War because of how good it is.

I don't think I've ever landed any trick as cleanly as Tommy landed that fs flip

Plenty of people have thought about front side flipping a big stair case and many have attempted. Props for Sandoval doing it. But how many people have been to Philly, skated downtown and have actually attempted the rail Burman 5050ed. No one that I have ever heard of, the trick is just more unique in a gnarlier way.

Its insane just how good these guys are at falling. Any normal person would leave with 2 broken legs or worse

i understand what they are saying, but it would have been more epic if it was done at an epic spot like el toro. everyone can relate to how gnarly it is. i mean, a 20 stair is gnarly, but el toro isnt just another set a stair in people's eye. it's a proving ground

@Thrasher Magazine Out of all honesty I haven't bought a Thrasher mag since 1991. I was born in 80 and when the boards and wheels went to popsicles and hard urethane it just killed the thrill for me personally! I still ride big boards with big wheels and 169's and that isn't gonna change !!! I want a thrasher mag just like the 1989 volumes💥☮

1 day, me and freinds has been skating around some church place for a while and we started to go to an 8 stair that we knew about and guess who was there. Tommy Sandoval. That day was an awesome day. Crazy to see he still rides for zero. He hooked my buddy up with a deck
