Most definitely agree about the winter vs summer thing. You can always put on more layers if it's cold, but you can't take off your skin if it's too hot lmao
my season rankings go the same as yours (in terms of fashion); fall is the best bc the temperature usually allows for whatever kind of style you want, whereas summer is the worst bc it's super restrictive on your style + it's hot
We're going to have to agree to disagree when it comes to the order of seasons Drew. I'm a California girl (currently living in the PNW), and I need my summer sun. So Summer is #1. Followed by Fall, then Spring, and finally Winter. ❤
Hey Drew! I've been watching your videos for a while now and I absolutely love your demeanor in all of your videos. I was wondering what kind of socks you are wearing in the video if you wouldn't mind sharing. Keep up the great work!
My local governing council says summer is the best!! Followed by spring, fall, and then winter. Spring/summer items I like: 1. Harris tweed cap. Picked it up this spring for all the miserable rain in London. Great spring item! It's waterproof and I like how it keeps the hood of my rain jacket out of my eyes when it starts to pour. 2. Cargo pants. Not super baggy ones but pockets are essential for easy access to phone, money, etc, during travel! 3. Small phone purse. For when you can't wear cargo pants but you don't want to carry a million things, a simple small phone purse that won't weigh you down is great! Mine is leather and pretty stylish. Thank you for another great vid!
May I truly recommend Blackstock and Weber? The unboxing experience is amazing and the fit and finish of the loafer is out of this world for something not truly ‘luxury priced’ still hits the wallet. Nonetheless, I would recommend going a HALF size down from your normal size as these loafers aren’t talked about enough and I took a gamble getting them. Glad I did! Never thought a platform look with a loafer would be so amazing. They also make leather and suede options. 😁
My spring essentials: Oxford Cloth Button Downs and Loafers! I dress very preppy, and OCBDs+loafers are a combo that go together even better than PB&J! Pink-stripe, blue-striped, and white ocbds are gonna be my top colors for sure! I own a pair of Blackstock & Weber Horsebit loafers, and they're definitely top quality. I do recommend them, just be extremely careful about sizing because their return policy sucks.
Spring is my favourite season. I love to see the changes in nature, and to see the activity from birds in the garden, especially. Don't forget to appreciate your avian homies, y'all.
In the UK, winter is definitely the worst. It’s so dark and cold. It goes Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter for me. Spring in the UK bangs, it’s great seeing the world wake up again after winter and these first warm days are great
Fall, winter, spring, summer over here. Love watching your content I’ve been slowly creating a capsule and getting rid of clothes I don’t feel good in and ur content really helps give me an idea even as a girlie of what I should be looking for to feel content
My season rankings are different than yours for a very interesting reason: Spring, Winter, Fall, Summer! Why is Fall not first? Well, I live in Cali, and fall is right after summer. That means, when it's technically "fall", it's still very hot for a couple of months. HOWEVER, spring comes right after winter! This means that even though it's April, it's still enjoyably cold, because the winter cold has not left us yet! Not only that, but I find that Spring is even more pretty than Fall. It's cool how much your geography changes your view on the seasons.
Same order tbh. Fall is the best cuz it starts to get chilly, so you can start wearing more clothes plus it's an indication that summer is finally over. #pvv
You are so right about the wide selection of Loafers. So many fun and interesting ones, and one that I have my eyes on rn are the Kith for Caminando loafers.
Another New Zealand brand I've dipped into is Rodd & Gunn. Not fashion forward, but a Kiwi take on English gentleman... solid pieces and a wide selection of sizes and pieces.
Summer is number 1! (But I live very far up north on the globe and if I still lived in my hometown, maybe not lol. Not only is it mild where I am but the dusk is so long and beautiful)… then spring, autumn, & winter last.
Finally!!! A summer video. In Thailand, it is summer throughout the year hahaha. Some of your wardrobe essentials gonna be what I wear all year round 😅
finally someone with *correct* seasons ranking. personally I would rank spring slightly above fall but that's besides the point, i can agree with everyone who ranks summer the lowest
Sorry I'm late! Been going through some heavy medical problems this week :(. Loved this one though - I really really love the daisy-chain-esque bracelets, they're perrrrfect for spring. Also, I think "certified loafer boy" will get me every time lol. As far as my spring essentials go - I also vibe a nice wife-pleaser/ribbed tank (I keep one of every color UNIQLO U carries, with 5 whites and 5 blacks) if I'm layering or staying in, and Volcom tanks if I'm going out with just a tank. I'm a trans guy, and I've found that they hide my tape/binder and feminine waist better than every other one I've tried. I live in the desert, so I'm wearing just a tank out a lot, so for continuity, I wear a lot of Volcom's standard short, which hits just above the knee and looks great with pretty much anything. I rotate three hats all year, but they definitely see a lot more play in the summer - my favorite of which is easily my Busch Gardens white tiger trucker cap. Seriously, I get so many compliments on that hat - pick one up if you ever see one. I wear less necklaces in the warmer months (trans guy stuff again - with lighter/thinner clothes, I don't want anything pressing on my chest), but accessorize with watches and bracelets more instead. I also wear earrings more often I think, since my clothes are way more minimalistic and I'm looking for ways to add to what can feel like a "boring summer look," y'know? Shoes are pretty much the same all year, except I take my boots out of rotation. Aaaaand #pvv - my tier list looks like: 1. Spring, 2. Fall, 3. Summer, 4. Winter. My basis for it is that cold hurts, hot is just uncomfortable lol. At least here, where there isn't humidity.
these past few videos that you’ve put out drew have been amazing, i’m happy to see you back posting 😁, the blog type video last video was also really good i think you should do more like that
Wide leg pants aesthetic is such a godsend for me never letting go lol man I am built different tall long legs and big thighs it’s just so comfortable for me
Bro if you want a great premium loafer check out the oak street slip moc, 12 oz of unlined Horween leather. I know that sounds heavy for a spring loafer but the thickness of the leather will allow you to play with the fit of the loafer better if you like them loose or fitted and will allow it to shape to your foot better than most loafers.
Spring is honestly my fav season as it's got the bday, the flowers blooming, and good vibes all around. #pvv I'm tryna find some good lightweight trousers and I've been on the hunt for new balances for months but I'm so indecisive it's like a game at this point ahaha. Love the vibes.
I agree w/ your season rankings, and I absolutely love loafers just like you! Your vids truly are helping me shape my reorganization of my wardrobe. I thank you. ❤
#pvv I think spring is the best season. Liki it depends on your style and I think mine is a lot more springy then autumny or winterish (Forgot how to speak english lol)
If i have unlimited budget, then my choice for loafers will be Alden lhs loafer. Arguably the best loafer profile. I cant afford them right now but hopefully one day.
Dude, I love the 3sixteen shirt. I managed to cop it way past it's drop and on sale on cultizm. Got it for like 80 or 90 bucks instead of it's original price since it was the last one.
Southern California doesn't have very drastic changes in seasons, but I definitely favor Fall/Spring. Spring would probably win outright if it weren't for the allergies lol
My essential this spring is a pair of thrifted jeans lol... 5 bucks for a whole season of outfits! They look particularly cool paired with a chunky high top sneaker so my black af1 highs are another essential.
Drew, you and I are close to the exact same height and weight. I'm also 6'3" and about 185lbx. I have a hard time finding pants that fit comfortably that also look good. What are the most common dimensions of your favorite pants? Do you find that pants tend to stretch over time and take the shape of your lower half? Some of mine have, but not all. Anyway, that's all. Love the channel!
