I love the easy eyeshadow look! I often feel like the odd man out because I prefer a simple look vs. using multiple shades, so it's nice to see that it can work for a wedding!

Thanks for sharing this, you look absolutely stunning! The simple steps and gorgeous results really appealed to me, so chose this as inspiration for my own wedding day make up. I chose to do myself to make sure I would look just like me on the day. It was not only stress free for me to do it (I didn't even do a test before the big day!) but extremely effective results - I got nothing but compliments from everyone in my party. I also look back in my pictures and I am so pleased as I looked just like me with some enhanced features. Again, thanks for the great inspiration!

I'm so envious of those women that a supportive family and are actually happy for her getting married. I don't have anyone to celebrate a wedding day with me. No friends or family. Please, if you have a loving family that gets along, cherish them and know their are those that would kill for that.

Oh my gosh, I couldn't have said it better. Shelbey is right. Family is a beautiful thing but sometimes, we do have to find or make our own. I'm not really close to the family that I have left, although I'm doing my best to stay in touch with one of my sisters. It's not always easy because of what we had gone through as kids, but I'm trying. Like you, I didn't "win" the lottery on having a great family. And even though some of them did attend my wedding many years ago, I still have the memories of the tension and problems that were faced that day with a few of them. I've been married 35 years now and no one remembered or celebrated that day with me and my husband. And because of various personal reasons, I decided not to have children. I don't regret it and have pets that I consider a part of my family. I don't have many friends, either. The friends I did have when I was younger, moved on and moved away. But I'm lucky to have met some very kind people during the last few years. I consider them true friends . We may not go out and have lunch and spend weekends together, but I know they care about me and are there for me when I need someone to talk to. I hope that you will be able to find some true friendships soon. Also, if and when you decide to one day get married, I wish for you a good and loving and loyal, kindhearted man or woman to spend the rest of your life with. That person, no matter if you marry, will be your family. I wish you happiness, peace & love.
Love this look... you looked amazing on your wedding day. I hope when I get married next September 2018 that my makeup looks as flawless and beautiful as yours did. I'm so scared. I don't want to be over done. Just simple and the main focus on my eyes as I feel that's my best feature on my face.
Shelby, 1 congratulations! Your day looked amazing! And 2, would you have done anything differently if you'd have been indoors/with more flash photography? I like to think I'm skilled enough to do my own wedding makeup but it's going to be indoors in the winter and I'm getting nervous about flashback!
