Excellent returns. I got Johnny James back in early September. Love the James return as well as the Pat Verbeek, Shane Conlan, Don Beebe, and Fred Lynn. Dodson is a tough get, congrats on getting him back.
@chrisandchriscollectingcar8778 i saw a Dodson return recently and I got those in the mail the same day. He appears like he has really short signing periods and then goes dark for months.
Hey Bob, great returns, like all the vintage. The Lynn is sweet, going to try to get him on a 76 for my set. Thanks again for sharing! Have a good one.
Great Returns … Fred Lynn was amazing! Liked the Don Bee Bee…Shane Conlan…Pat Dotson was great too. Was he part of that longest inning game in baseball for Pawtucket??
@ryanlouisa9102 I decided to try because the signed IC card is way better than any other 'don't get your cards back' failed attempt, so totally worth it to try.
I need to try for Mr. Curtis again. I think I tried a while back and never got a response. I can’t believe you got Fred Lynn back signed. I’ve gotten the signed Index Card back. Maybe it’s time to try again with a better letter. Maybe I could add a few bucks for incentive too. All the TTM videos I’ve watched on RU-vid and I do believe yours is the first success I’ve seen from Mr. Lynn. I’ve been watching ttm videos for 5 years.
@oldcardboard3647 Yeah, It's hard to explain how floored I was to get Lynn back. I watched the video and I was stammering even after the next auto I showed haha. I've seen that he used to take donations for the Face Foundation through his website to get autos signed, but those TTM submissions were many years ago and haven't seen anyone do that in a long time. It's possibly disabled on the site. You could mention the charity if you put some money in the envelope.
@Bostnfn Yeah, I went into it with zero hope of my card being signed. At the very least, I'd still get an auto on an IC, so it was worth a Hail Mary. Must have caught his wife in a fantastic mood.
