Wow this is so impressive! I love love journaling I’ve writing since 2013(I’m just 16 jaja) and I’ve been doing it daily for 5 months now, but watching this video made me feel very excited because it must be fascinating to have your life documented for 20 years! 🤩 wow

this is so friggin cool. journals / diaries are literally like proof of our existence. I’m so excited to let my future children read mine and encourage them to get one 😭😭
Im just a kid but seeing this really inspired me to journal more. I also made two books by binding and the first one was kinda messy but im pretty proud of the second book. And i really like the leaves for ur book cover🤩
What an inspiring video! I have amassed a large collection of completed journals over the years too. My journal has, at times, brought me through some very tough times. I don't know what I'd do without it 🤩. I loved your story about carrying around pieces of paper at work to write in...and binding them later. So awesome.
Always stunning when you get to see entire journal series ! Your handmade ones are nicely done. After 35 years journaling, my 55 notebooks fill a chest.
Et je viens seulement de remarquer que tu écris en français dedans 🤣 à l'avant-dernier cahier ! J'aime l'idée de noter la date sur la,tranche. Depuis des décennies je choisis un titre au début de chaque cahier, comme un pari sur l'avenir.

Oh my gosh!!! I have the same black and red journal; it was also my first one when I was 14 years old! It's precisely the same except for the writing on the cover.
@@painchaud2000, mine is from the '80s. The paper quality could definitely have been better. It holds such a special place in my heart, though, because it was my first journal and interested me in journaling, which I have kept up for 36 yearsnow. I love your collection; it's so cozy :)
Sheesh la chance ! Je viens de tomber sur ta vidéo de "sprouting" truc muche parce que je me demandais si ça vallait la peine d'en avoir un et là je tombe sur celle-ci en 2ième ! Ça vient directement flatter mes cordes ! La revalorisation de vieux manteaux en superbe journaux que t'a juste envie de toucher avec le papier super épais que tu veux juste y mettre le nez pour humer l'odeur exquise du papier. Moi qui adore écrire et qui n'ai jamais vraiment pris le temps de rassembler mes écrits éparses et pèle mèle un peu partout.. clairement je n'ai pas été doté d'un mentor comme toi ! Alors je redis quelle chance de t'avoir déniché aujourd'hui! Très très pertinent, inspirant et créatif! Bonne continuation!

Glad to hear this!!! Even if you never re-read them or even lock them in a box and throw away the key, I think it's a good thing to keep them. Tho in the end you can always do what you want and how you feel about that is most important.

I'm glad it calmed you...and about that anxiety...just don't try to be good at first....my first journals sucked and ended up in the trash but with everyone I made I got better and got to the point where I sold some too. So baby steps and learn all the way 😉

Eh eh thanks!! Yeah I still have a lot of my fake moleskine ( but better quality) in store for if or when I go pocket again. I probably go every 2 weeks in dollar strores and have not found such great notebooks.....I did find great letter paper tho these past weeks....for use with an electronic typewriter that can type dark letters on printed paper...I really should do a video about it during March break! 😁
You're not alone in making volumes of homemade journals! In my case, I make journals out of notebook pages and would have 500 pages or more per volume per week. But its contents are non-personal for they are articles and readings from the internet. I would then make hardcovers with gold and silver pen designs and a picture related to the volume's theme. This video of yours inspired me to make some more!! :D

That's really cool man! Honestly I have tried journaling a bit throughout the years, but my thoughts are just too jumbled lol. All the notebooks I had/have always ended up being drawings/plans and projects I've had in mind. Still fun though haha. But I think what you are doing takes skills and patience that I will never know in this lifetime. Enjoyed the video!
Hey mine are too! Ain't nothing wrong with that. I do everything in my journal, imagine writing and drawing stuff while you rest on a stump in your forest 😉
J'ai vraiment aimé ta vidéo! Je trouve aussi que la qualité de papier c'est important. J'écris beaucoup plus quand j'ai le bon papier et un bon crayon!
Merci! Et oui la qualité du papier fait beaucoup! Meme si on utilise une plume a bille bon marché. Mais si on monte la qualité de l'outil d'écriture alors la le papier importe encore plus...enfin d'apres moi 😋
It must be pretty interesting and cool to be able to look back at the past 20yrs! I started journaling when I was 8yrs old and I turned 22yrs old in May (clearly not as long as you but I’m looking forward to hitting that milestone) and I just finished/filled journal #63☺️ Do you keep a log of your journals in order of when you used them and to keep track of how many you have filled? (I find that helps me a lot when I want to read back on things) Also do you have any journaling tips youve learn over the years?
That is still a long time and you'll have a part of your life I don't ( since I started at 18) And I do have a register...made a video about it too a little after this one I think. I still haven't finished it tho 😂
Love all your journal's love how u filled them all with nothing but writing in my current journal is got alot of writing and stuff stuck inside the last few pages are getting hard to write In so I'm just gonna stick pics in the rest of the pages tbh!but I looove writing in my journals but my hands get so super tired if I write too much so when they do i stick stickers in them and pics too! Your so inspiring I made my own sketchbook/journal don't know if I should use it as a journal since it's compelety blank pages?! Love this have a nice day!
After trying out several different types of notebooks at the same time I found that the only one that stuck was the journal....so eventually I just combined everything in my journal...simpler for...and I added the doodles as quick reminders of what I wrote on that page... And it does give a look I love to it too...but sometimes I only write too 😉
Oh it's a long process and I haven't done it for a long time...plus I got rid of most of what I needed to do so. But just check bookbinding tutorials and there are a lot of good videos about it 😉
