I’m an oldie cooking and please note that pan is Teflon and very bad for you when the coating comes off in the pan. You should replace those plans every year as needed.
Well if we’re talking about health, Teflon should be avoided altogether as it contains toxins that leach into the food. It’s better to use stainless steel or cast iron.
The whole garlic is a "bulb" (or a head of garlic), the pieces of the bulb are called "cloves". You introduced your wife as "my wife", but does she have a name you can share? She's very cute!

Oh, Corey, you are right, I've found the Sinigang mix on Amazon plus where I live we have a big 'International Market' and a big Asian community so many of the foods your sweet wife uses are available here.

Isn't pork belly just bacon. They take the pork belly and slice it and then it's called bacon it just as not been cured Starch ppl used starch from pasta all the time so it is the same concept

I grew up in Carson, California. When I lived there, it had the most populated Filipino community outside the Philippines. I just fell in love with the people and their culture.
Did you notice the pan that you are cooking in is flaking its coating? If you will look, the coating is peeling off of the pan and going into your food. That pan should be disposed of, & never used again. It is very dangerous to your health. I’m very serious.
@sandracedar368 you are absolutely right! That coating in the pan is totally bad for your health. It's not even good to use those kind of pans when it's not peeling. 😊
no worries corey i learned for many years for filipino words of foods, that kang kong is called Ung choy or swamp cabbage, the fish sauce im very familiar with i love the patis, the one i have here at home is 3 crab brand from thailand, and the Rufina patis is the one i got from Marukai japan asian store, another patis i have is Amor Nino patis he is from phillipines but moved here to hawaii oahu to open up his shop here to make patis and many filipino sauces...so im very familiar with Many Many filipino dishes and seasonings, try the magic sarap seasonings, i use it for filipino pork soups, its very delicious!!!! aloha marthy (hawaii)..oh garlic in filipino its called Bawang, and tupig is called water!!
