For the first and only time in the series, Vegeta's sheer arrogance and pride was a massive dub. Dude voluntarily succumbed to literal mind control for the power boost and told his new _master_ to get bent.

To this day this whole story arc of the Majin Saga is my favorite. It really dives into Vegeta's personality and motives so well and its probbably why Vegeta is such a fan favorite

Vegeta had been waiting longer than 7 years to fight Goku. It'd been 7 years since Cell, but don't forget Vegeta had been waiting since the Saiyan Saga. They were on Namek for months, then Goku was gone for months after Frieza, then they trained for 3 years for the Androids, then you have them spending a year (of their lives) in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber (and Vegeta went in twice), then you have this 7 year period. Vegeta waited closer to 13 years to fight Goku again. Also, I can't even count how many time I've seen Vegeta's speech to Supreme Kai about why their squabble ISN'T meaningless and I still get goosebumps. It's some of my favorite dialogue in this entire series.

Never forget Krillin used a wish from Shenron to remove the bombs from the androids bodies so that they could live peaceful human lives.

The Androids are technically cyborgs, which is why 18 could reproduce

Chances are, if it didn't put a strain on his body and didn't severely cut down on his time on earth for that day then Kakarot would've likely fought Vegeta for a bit at Super Saiyan 2 and then went to Super Saiyan 3 to end the fight and got to Buu

The confusing part about the "Androids" is that they are actually more like Cyborgs. In Japanese, the term is Jinzou ningen, which translates to "artificial human" but can also be interpreted as "cybernetically enhanced human." So it's kind of a funky translation that leaves English speaking audiences confused as to why an "android" can have a child.

The funny thing to this battle between Goku and Vegeta is that Vegeta thought that Goku was fighting at his full strength but Goku could already go beyond SSJ2 and transform to SSJ3, we could see this afterwards when he tries to stop Majin Buu from destroying a city. Poor Vegeta, always one step behind.

Just to let you know that Goku mastered Super Saiyan 3 before this battle with Vegeta, when Vegeta was sent back to earth to help Goku against Majin Buu he said he found out he achieved level 3 on the other world that's why he refused at first to fuse together because Goku was holding back his power to not hurt Vegeta's pride even more and also if he uses that level his time on earth will be shorter due to the amount of energy wasted. So he decided to fight him at his same Super Saiyan 2 level.

"android" 18 isnt an android she is a cyborg. the only actual androids from that time were 16 and 19 and cell was a bioengineered android. cyborgs are humans that are altered with mechanical parts to increase performance, abilities, etc

17 and 18 were modified on the cellular level from humans.

Vegeta has always been my favorite character, when watching a few episodes leading to Vegetas majin transformation my wife turns, looks at me n says: "ughh!! He acts like he's never wrong and gets mad about it" she had me rollin. Edit: My wife is my Bulma lol

Vegeta almost ended the buu saga early. If they unleashed buu now he would be dead. Fat buu would have to face goku vegeta and Gohan.

Vegeta helped us on namek and vs 19 he saves goku.....he earned his spot on the team he even helped beat cell...but yes this is a black mark on his character...brought upon due to goku being dead dying the way he did..vegeta feels like he is nothing he doesn't care about his family he didn't make pals he is insecure and depressed and takes out his anger on others....

The beginning of the Buu saga, at least from the tournament to when Buu hatched, was kind of a letdown for me. Just a series of the Supreme Kai talking up an enemy as if they were the greatest threat ever, and then Goku or Vegeta just bullying them to death. Seriously, the Supreme Kai kept acting as if Pui-Pui and Yakon would require one of the Saiyans to sacrifice their life (or Goku's very existence) to have a prayer of beating them, and then he's absolutely amazed when Goku and Vegeta barely put in any effort to annihilate their respective opponents. Even Gohan would have probably bodied Pui-Pui and never broken a sweat.

And the reason android 18 can have kids is they used the dragonballs to make her human again I can't remember which episode they mentioned that in it was just referenced they never showed it
