SB Live! SB0100 or SB0060. Then get the disc ISO with drivers off vogons library. Great win98 sound card with DOS support.

The problem is, period accurrate PCi card (especially 3DFX ones) are expensive today. Maybe something newer like a nVidia MX4000 or FX5200, PCi form. While being affordable, would make a huge improvement over the onboard IGP. When it comes to sound, as other have suggested, Sound Blaster Live is a no brainer. Although you haven´t mentioned which sound interface that motherboard integrates. If it is ESS Audiodrive, I would keep it like that.

I was never a fan of Celerons, but a 1Ghz, it does the job. I would look for a suitable PIII, and another stick of 128Mb DDR. For video I would totally agree with a MX4000 or FX5200. Is that a comm slot on the far left? That can take a modem or Ethernet, or combo, but the Ethernet may prove useful. USB sound is great, I have some SB/EAX systems, as one game I have has that option. I play Dungeon Siege, and a few ANSI Based games on W98. I would optimize my Hard disk, once a month...

Am not lol. I just made this build from a mix of computers. Defo would prefer a P3. Thank you, that's some great tips. I defo will take that on board, great tips. Ya think so + ya Lan be helpful. I may add a Video card and maybe a 5.25 Floppy Drive. Love playing with old computers. Thank you again 👍🙂🙂

Voodoo2/3 pci if you have the money, maybe a cheapo pci video card from Nvidia/ATI if you can find it with like 16-64mb vram. Cant go wrong with a Sound Blaster live! Is cheap and works under DOS. Dont know what IGP that mobo has.
