Thanks for the Ableton live tips. Just upgraded to version 12 live lite the other day. That tonemaster pro is still in the running for my quiet studio solution.

I just decided recently to go DAWless for at least laying down ideas. The main piece for that just arrived today. It's a Korg Nautilus workstation. It has a 16 track sequencer along with 16 tracks of audio recording. This should be fun. I can now hook up all of my modelers to a rack mount mixing board and send the stereo outs to the Korg. When inspiration happens I can lay down guitar tracks with some decent sounding drums and synth/keys with the Korg. When it's all done, then dump that to my DAW and do my final mix/mastering. I would have killed to have this setup 20 years ago when I owned a Korg Triton Studio.

That’s awesome man. I love the flexibility of modern gear these days!

Digging your videos on the TMP, I’ll need to review some of your other work. My great cabinet is next to nothing. An older Roland 700GX keyboard, a pair of Roland Cube 30 speakers and a stand. I’ve ordered up a couple leftie guitars that’ll take a few months to get crafted but I work overseas in the sandbox so I don’t plan on seeing them until I retire next April. Whew, TMI. ANYWAY, I’m kinda hung up on buying a Roland JC-40 amp and wondering if I can use this for the output from the TMP? Don’t really need an amp if I get the TMP as Fender has their FR speakers but I’ve had my mind set on buying the JC-40 for so long now it’s be like kicking a friend to the curb. Other than there being other options, I’d there any electrical reason why the output of the TMP wouldn’t be a good match for the JC? The FR AND JC are close enough in price to make the purchase and since I don’t own any amps or pedals, just going to the TMP seems like a cheaper route than collecting all the gear. I haven’t messed with Ableton much or LogicPro but I’ve purchased both and will link up my Mac Studio to the TMP and start the learning curve. I need to get back to the Udemy videos on how to use LogicPro. Novel too long but thanks. If you have any other JC Chorus demos from the TMP let me know. I watched the clean tones video as that was my first search after I found out about the TMP. THANKS

Man, you need to get in touch with me on Instagram, I'd love to help you figure this out. I say get the JC 40 ( because it's a gnarly amp) and get the Fender FRFR cab for flexibility. If you only bought the Fender TMP for a pedal board, you'd still save money - so don't think it'd be worthless without the FRFR cab. You'd just use like half of what you paid for hahah. But seriously, reach out to me on Instagram, helping guitarists with music production is my jam.

So in studio mode you use the TMP as interface directly plugged into your computer. And for live the computer is replaced by the frfr? Do you keep cabs/IR in any case? Thanks!

Yeah. I haven’t played through my FRFR cab in a bit. I have everything coming through my HiFi system atm haha

Damion, would you mind if I shared this video to Fender's Tone Master Pro Discord server as I think most people on there may not be aware that you can use the unit as an interface like that? If you prefer, I can send you info about the Discord server and then you could repost it yourself if that's better. Let me know! Great videos by the way, and yes I would like to see more in depth videos about it!

Thanks for the video. The challenge I am having is that I am plugging a Beatbuddy drum machine into the aux on the tone master pro. I can control the volume from the Beatbuddy, but even at the lowest level, what's coming out of the tone master pro to my speakers is too loud. Do you know of any way to control the aux volme on the Tone Master Pro. It only seems to respond to the master volume.

I have this same issue running my Roland SP404mkII through it. I have to crunch the volume almost all the way. An alternative is to run it as an external pedal. use loop 3 or 4. You can also run it through the mic line.

Hi Andy, I wondered if you can back test an issue against one I’m having on my unit with yours through headphones. I have Audeze good headphones. I’m finding the Bluetooth when streaming is panned to slightly left not completely. About 10 % while the guitar signal is panned straight down the middle . It’s driving me nuts. In fact making the Bluetooth almost unusable for me. I have some other issue with signal level coming out of the TMP into ableton very low. . I might see if I can catch on a livestream and ask a couple of questions but would appreciate a reply on the bluetooth. I contacted fender customer support 2 months ago… nothing back at all . Cheers for the video I for one am very interested in routing videos, more on resampling and how it works with the TMP. Hoping fender do a serious update soon and finish some of the bits of TMP that feel clunky or unfinished like alternate Hz on tuner .mix and pan, volume in and out on effects loops. A new amp or amps and cabs. It is a good unit but fender don’t really talk about where the unit is going or what they expect to achieve over the next months year. I keep looking at the ax fx but honestly I’ve heard you say a few times now that your not using your ax 3 as much since you got tge TMP… this comment alone has been keeping me onboard.. routing is important as I run complex setups … not yet had the gratification with TMP as an audio interface as you seem to be having. I definately think this us user error in some areas. I keep sitting down to try and get it sorted and running into issues. Maybe catch in live stream for chat. Cheers

Not sure why you have a Bluetooth panning issue.. I really can’t think of why this is happening.. maybe upload your presets and do a factory reset. For your levels, hit the mixer button and raise your USB connections all the way. Then check your preset and volume. For recording, I keep my preset volume around 80-90%.

@@damionandy thanks Andy. Tge panning issue is from anything I steam off my phone. So backing tracks etc are all panned slightly left. However if I run guitar mono over the top straight down the middle I can hear the Bluetooth is reception is panning yo Tge left. Really wired really frustrating . Thanks for the reply buddy

@@sandrews7760 Is the backing track panned? I ask this because when I'm mixing tracks, I will pan guitars to L/R. Just trying to figure why the heck this would happen haha.
