Hi Will, many thanks for another enjoyable video👍🏻Have you tried the Mosquito coils or insect zappers nifty little things for those dang midges? Amazon sells them 😊 Also a small tip, don't know if you this it but if you soak the onions in cold water you can then peel & slice them without the eye stinging bought on by the white milky residue, oh I learnt the following tip from Gordon Ramsey, he advises slicing the onion whilst leaving the bottom bit intact this also keep the white residue inside the onion then just toss the root into your nearest garbage pot, bin or bag without the weeping eyes hope this gives you a wee bit of help😊Loved the Jurrasic Park video, also the American bus & RV ones 😉 Please stay well & safe ok?🫂

Amazon sells these stretchy screens that fit over the top of the door windows. They work so well at keeping little bugs and gnats out. Double sided screens. Cheap too, only about 12-14 bucks. Several sizes for small or large doors. They have a giant net for the rear hatch too.

Any Alphard driver would be cringing watching you use the electric doors so much! Most of us turn them off for camping for obvious reasons…flat battery. Completely flummoxed as to why you’d attempt a brand new recipe for a first camp? The weather and midges along with roaring motorbikes had nothing to do with the car. I feel all of that distracted from the actual camper. Best vehicle I’ve ever driven, I drove for 5 hours with a ten minute break recently. It’s SO comfortable. I have a pop top for further comfort and go to sites with EHU now after camping for two nights without. Prefer to use my small electric kettle for a cuppa and take a pop up tent for storage. Alphard’s are supremely comfy being a high spec car rather than a van and are a fraction of VW costs. The only way I realised my lifelong camper dream.

My camper is an Alphard but I have a pop top and different layout. Love it, such a lovely drive. They don't like the power doors opened and closed too much as they drain the battery, but even then I have never managed to completely flatten it! 🤣This is just so hilariously chaotic as always! Poor Ben though, he was eaten alive.
When I was living in Surinam,South-America,you see these Toyota Alphard often. Allso with RHD,because Surinam is driving like the UK. Lots off times you where seeing these Alphards in use as a taxi van !!!
That's true,they are indeed verry luxurious inside and spacious for 5 people and suitcases. Brings back memories when whe went to pick up some Dutch family for our wedding in Surinam 2010.
Brilliant things. Have a 2008 2.4 thats got a full rear kitchen and pop top conversion and honestly Im not sure if Ill ever let go of it. They really do lend themselves so well to conversions, as being a luxury minivan they inherrently have a luxury feel and refinement you dont find in your typical panel van conversion (unless you spend megabucks on a new Transporter). They also drive really nicely.
Another A-class video Will, Toyotas can make anything and you know it will last long and be reliable. Don't know about the flies issue though, maybe they were included free with the van.
Funniest one yet Will. I'm away in my Go-Pod at the moment and have a couple of flies bugging me. I wish I had a fly spray but thanks to you, I can live with it now! 😂😂
Loving the new series will! The key fob problem with your van is probably the ignition switch...it gets stuck and doesn't register with the ECU. It's a cheap and easy fix so deffo worth a try. The part is about £20, just have to remove the cover around the ignition and plug the new switch in. 👍👍
@@WillsWhereabouts I had the same problem and it's definitely frustrating 🤣....if you haven't replaced the ignition switch, you can dump a can of Halfords electrical spray down the ignition barrel....it will remove any dirt and possibly free up the switch....deffo a cheaper option....just make sure it's electrical spray as it evaporates and won't harm any electrics 👍
just what i needed this. been working in germany all summer and I needed a laugh. think it's time i got a van conversion going. I think it would help my mental state somewhat, going forward.
Next time just run water over the onion. You are hilarious my friend. HIlarious. What a treat early in the morning watching you fumble and fume!!!!! Oh and always carry bug spray or those things you hang up to get rid of critters. Might as well call it a survival kit with what you deal with from time to time. Oh....and probably a bottle of scotch or something!
Those automatic doors were cool! Wonder if the beeping has different meanings. The jump starters are a god send when you need them, thank goodness it was charged up. All the best, David 👍

Don't forget when you experience these lovely places "the country is full" says folk who never leave big cities lol - its lovely up around there isn't it?
They are quite colour sensitive. Also the "S" versions (AS for a 2.4, MS for a 3.0) have a distinctive factory sports bodykit with deeper bumpers, side sills and a rear spoiler - does make them look better

Nice little van... I follow about half a dozen vanlifers and none seem to carry with them spray for flies and mosquitoes in their vans...Would be so easy, spray some inside, shut the door and stay outside for 5 minutes or so which in a small space should quickly knock them out, and Bob´s your uncle and Fanny your aunt!🤣 I like that one! I took some Velcro and put mosquito screen in the back gate of my van! Being a liftgate it doubles as a canopy in light rain keeping things cooler in summer heat
Quick 1 Pan Cheats Paella... Cut the Chorizo into good chunks, fry them off to get some colour and release the oils then remove from the pan. Add the onions and peppers and cook for a few mins. Then add the Garlic, Tomato Paste and Smoked Paprika. Cook for a short period then add the prawns, Peas and Chorizo into the pan. Then add the rice and a bit of the Chicken Stock with the lid on. Cook until the Prawns are pink and the rice as absorbed the stock. Finish off with some seasoning as required and a squeeze of Lemon. Ingredients: Chorizo Stick (High Quality) Prawns (Frozen Jumbo) Flame Roasted Peppers (Jar) Onion (Chopped) Garlic (Chopped or Minced) Peas (Frozen) Tomato Paste (Good Squeeze) Chicken Stock (250ml) Smoked Paprika (1Tspn) Lemon Seasoning (Salt & Pepper) Plain Rice (Ready Cooked Packet)

Hey Will there is a Japanese guy I watch on here who's just bought a similer van setup to this one it's amazing what's crammed into them his has a got a full on fridge tv and a giant full lenth bed with one above it at the back also
