I think the opening and middlegame was a good example of Kraai's saying "pawns aren't people".

Thanks for this video Kostya. I was looking forward to it and hoping you wouldn't skip it because of the loss. I continue to struggle with my thought processes while playing and it helps to see how many options you look at for your opponent and how deep you look into them.

Took me a while to realize you were talking about Hübner. 😀 Well, in that game, he took the bishop as well and won the pawn on e4 a few moves after the knight exchange. Can't be that bad. 🤔

Tough way to lose. I’m very familiar with that feeling of losing focus after the game balance changes drastically. Looking forward to more videos as I try to get MY game in order after a 2 year hiatus.
