I've been noticing this recently. Even when I filter to "Upload Date" to try to get more recent results, it's still either from a few years ago, or there's no results at all! I think RU-vid is trying to avoid showing recently uploaded content to avoid showing people "Fake news", or "Conspiracy content". I'm not even someone who believes a lot of conspiracies, I just like to see different points of view, and some of them seem to have some credence. I'm very much considering moving away from RU-vid! Show me what I search for, not what you want me to see!
