Some cars may be faster than the ZR1. But the ZR1 remains king of the road. Because there is more to the car than just speed. It's the most iconic American car of all time. The corvette will always be king.

Nice ride!!! It’s awesome seeing all these guys who have much love for the corvette. I’m on my 7th one now which is a z51 c7. I agree 7 speed is where it’s at, I’ve had one auto and it was my first. They really made leaps in this generation but I can only imagine how fast and well yours handles. Great video, but now I want to get black lug nuts 😂
Tech day looked like a great time. Love the sound of the C6 and C7 with hot cams. I hope I can find the same type of tech day around the Sacramento area. I have been Corvetteless for a few years now, but that changed a couple of weeks ago. We bought a super clean 2002 Torch Red Corvette Z06. We are back in the Corvette life style now. I will send off some pictures soon. As our buddy Rick Corvette Conti says, we have "Stopped Dreaming and now we can Start Driving". Thanks for another great video.
I remember your other tech day vid, That is very gracious of the shop owner to open his shop up like that, on the cam note nothing better then the lumpy sound of a good cam, the manual trans thing is no longer anything I desire, the last manual I had was my bought new 02 Trans Am WS-6, rowing gears just is not in me anymore, I see SS717 sent you a pic,, as always thumbs up soon as I hit the play button !!!
Yea, apart of me wanted that M7 and if I could change one that that would have been it. The paddle shifters are cool to play with but not the same. Yea, mike and I have been texting. Nice young guy. 👍🏻😎

Hey Chuck, I know I'm a little late, I was on vacation, but I love these Tech Day videos. Soo many beautiful cars, I could spend all day at the shop. Your buddy's Blk Beaty has to be the Black Mamba's twin lol. Beleive it or not cams had to grow on me, I grew to love that amazing extra aggressive sound they produce. As always Chuck awesome video can't wait until the next.
The clubs should invest in some race ramps to use at the garage and get rid of those wooden boards for approach clearance. One incident on a carbon fiber piece will pay for a set or two of race ramps.

They did, allot of little small changes to direct the air but were very noticeable. The V brackets jumped out at me right away. They definitely redesigned it to keep that LT5 cool. It my opinion this is everything the Z06 should have been but with the LT4.

Only mod? Hope you plan to at least consider getting a good oil catch can? These LT motors ingest a ridiculous amount of blowby oil, and at only 9k miles my blower lid and blower where caked with blowback oil. The back of the valves already began to coke also, started reporting detonation from my data logs to. Since I cleaned my valves, and Supercharger of blowback oil and installed a catch can I have had no more problems. Please consider getting one, it is a small investment that will protect your engine.

Hey Chuck, first time seeing a vid of yours. Enjoyed it and wish we were closer than Tulsa. Our vette club has been around for 17 years in GA. Would be nice to tag up on a weekend for a cruise but too far away. And yes, a cam does wonders for LS motors in performance and sound. Great job man!!
I love the sound of a an aggressive cam but probably will never touch the ZR1 when it comes to performance mods. End the end keeping this Corvette Stock is the way to go.
