You did NOT get an inch and a half difference by lowering the car! There isn't even an inch and a half to go on the lowering bolt! Half inch if THAT maximum. Tell the truth.
Had my 2018 Grand Sport 3lt for about 4 weeks ago. I am in my late seventies and have had countless numbers of cars. This is my personal favorite of all time. I tend to use it's power. It's a little unstable over 200 mph, hahaha.
You don't test drive a Corvette until you can prove that you can actually pay for the car or you actually buy it first because Corvette buyers are very finicky and don't want random people beating on their brand new Corvette before they buy it so don't plan on test driving one if it's brand new
Really been interested in a C7 GS lately. I started with a heads/cam 04 GTO, had it for 6-7 years. Then moved up to a 14 CTSV (pulley/exhaust), had it for 5-6 years now. Getting the itch for the next thing. I've always been interested in a true two seater + a true sports car. I will speak to the GS power vs a Z06, while i havent drove either, im already pretty sure the GS is the one for me. The GTO made 414whp and was alot of fun. The V makes 550whp and its honestly too fast sometimes. I think the GS will be more than fast enough for me. The Z06 would be overkill. All i would likely do is headers and exhaust (i gotta be loud as heck).

Chuck, I was following you way back when you had the Z06 and always loved your content. In fact, I was thinking about you yesterday and then I came across this video today that I remember from years ago. I am now in a position to purchase a one owner C7 ZR1 that has ~ 3100 miles on it so I have been watching a ton of videos on it. I also had a C7Z06 and currently have a 2024 Z06 and a 60th Anniversary C6Z06. I really like both but have been disappointed with the lack of torque on the C8Z. I think the C7 ZR1 will be the sweet spot for me. Thanks much for the video and content, Sir!
The correct answer is either get the stingray (based on the price what you’re getting its worth although it looks nothing like or performs like the z06) GS for the money better off paying for z06
"Ford GTs are all over the place". LOL You know you have a Chevy fanboy when they say something ridiculous like that. Otherwise, decent and accurate review of the Vette. There are a few other complaints that I would have added, like the cheap paint job that some Vette owners notice, or the cheap interior, some of which is just borrowed from other Chevys.
A little more power for 3x the price in this current economy, better to go with the z06 ZR1 is almost redundant for anyone trying to max their dollar, if you have money to throw away and you have to have a ZR1 then yeah but no other reason in 2023-2024
