Matthew warned us the new stuff was gonna be way different. It’s admittedly a bit jarring at first, but it’s definitely still MCMB. Stoked for the rest of it.
When I first heard they were coming back i wasn't expecting the old MCMB and this is a lot different but unique and I dig it ! Thanks Mitchell Davis from livelavalive days for talking this band up
Finally back at it! Missed you guys. Not disappointed at all. There was plenty of communication on what to expect from you guys personally as far as this album's style.
this is actually pretty good. based on all the comments i thought they might've hopped on the nu metal trend. glad to see they're still pretty heavy. i guess i might be in the minority who thinks their most recent album is their best though, and this song seems like a natural progression from that record.
Well i like it. I amHappy to hear anything original. Between this and the new being as an ocean album i might actually have some music to look forward to.
Interesting new track. You guys have changed your sound up some. I'm going to listen to it a few more times and let it sink in before I make a final opinion. Did the drummer change between albums?
Hmm.. other song was much better. I'm curious about the lyrics though.. definitely has an evil vibe that your other records didn't have but not in a good way either.
This song is pretty disappointing for me, I hope it's the most experimental they get with the new album. I have no issues with bands experimenting but this song sounds like a mess to me. Edit: After a few more listens, this song did grow on me. I still think that it's too repetitive in general, but I do love the vocals and the production.

Mind. Art. Creativity. This is the absolute epitome of erroneous judgment. You think you hear a fragment of one line from one song, and that definitely doesn't "sound" Christian, so now they probably have somehow lost their faith, and isn't that a disappointment. Bro.
