They both are monsters. They used this kid for money, she literally said in a video that she did not want to spend 500$ for his consultations yet spends thousands on her self and even asked her followers to donate money for Huxley!! She had the child for 3 years and never loved him... never felt anything for him ! She is not a mother. They knew very well what they were doing. They never cared for Huxley.

What real mother throws her child away because he has issues??? You work and work and work until you resolve them period.

I have an autism spectrum disorder. When my mom was pregnant she and my dad had no idea I had this disability. Then I was born.......and they began finding me treatments as soon as they realized I had an asd. It was just as much a surprise for them as the Stauffers experienced but they did not put me up for adoption.

She was an RN so how can she say the person who is watching him has medical background as a good reason to give up their child? As an adopted kid I can imagine what this little boy is going through he was in an orphanage where he probably was fed once a day and never showed any affection. Then adopted, then turned around and place in the care of other strangers any issues he had are going to be so much worse for a long time before they ever get better. Its sick to think they have 4 other kids who I'm sure if they had any issues mentally would never decide to put them up for adoption.

My brother is autistic I can’t imagine him not being in my life. Yes we went through the therapy, doctors etc. You don’t give up on your kids. If you need help reach out to people, they used that poor child to become famous.

They monetized the process, continued making money off the poor little boy up through the days after their big revelation (which is extra disgusting and did so until called out by thousands for it online). He was always treated like an object, less than equal to the bio kids to say the least, ranging from him having special early bedtimes to facilitate them having “family time” without him to not allowing him to suck his thumb as a toddler immediately after coming to the US despite their kids who were older being allowed to do so (they went so far as to tape up his poor hand). The frustration and anger in Myka’s voice toward him was evident constantly. She had a case of savior complex coupled with gold, old fashioned greed. And was so addicted to the attention/cash combo that despite loathing the experience with the poor child and having no bond whatsoever with him, was trying to start another foreign adoption. I wouldn’t allow her to adopt an animal from my pet rescue. She’s an untrustworthy narcissist who puts her self interest above all else. I feel for her children whose lives have been turned into a constant family video taping/blog post in lieu of a childhood. If there is any justice in this world no one will ever allow these morons to adopt a living being ever again. As an attorney I’d never advise a client to participate in the process with them.

You don’t need to have medical training to raise a special needs child. You need love, patience and understanding. You think any of us special needs parents knew what we were doing when it turned out our kids had special needs?! It’s a learning process and we know that we don’t try to get our children to fit into our world. It’s about fitting into theirs. You adjust and you make the best of it. You do this because this is YOUR child and you love him/her and you want them to have a good and healthy life. These people didn’t care for him at all. There’s no way you adopt a child knowing he’s special needs and then turn around and say “it’s too much work let’s give him away” and then claim to love him. No, they cared about lining their pockets. Once they got what they needed, they tossed him out like he didn’t a mean anything to them.

If their natural born son is diagnosed with autism, would they "rehome" him?

They should be investigated.

Your child's doctors (pediatrician, psychologist, therapists) told you that your child would thrive better if you (the only family he has any recollection of) would disappear from his life and give him to a stranger. The more you know about this woman the more her lies and fake facade unravel. She knowingly adopted a special needs child, she went against the advice of medical professionals that this wasn’t a good idea, did it anyway. She then profited off all of the viewers she gained as a result. Everything is a sham and I don’t feel sorry for her or her douche husband. I feel extremely sorry for this child who was used as click bait to give her a lifestyle she couldn’t afford otherwise. Literally nauseating!

He needed more what. i’m sorry but i have a special needs brother who had a very rare condition and is unable to walk, talk, eat, and drink and neither of my parents have any medical training but they are doing an amazing job, we don’t have a big fancy home, or a fancy youtuber life but we have all the things we need to care for him and keep him happy and alive, i just don’t understand how these people could do this

They say “with an international adoption there are a lot of unknowns.” But there are also a lot of unknowns when you birth your own biological child. And there were so many things that they DID know considering they adopted him BECAUSE he had special needs. I know there is a lot behind closed doors, but having a child is for life. Adopted or not. If you can’t handle all of the possibilities (illness, behavioral problems, maybe your kid will be the next Ted Bundy), then DON’T HAVE KIDS. I guarantee if one of their bio kids had an illness they wouldn’t give them up to a “new mommy with medical training” considering MYKA IS A REGISTERED NURSE!!!! Ugh.

I honestly feel like they went through the adoption kind of like thinking oh this is something cool to do, hey let’s be the family that has an adoptive kid and document it to be liked. You guys get what I’m saying. And they also said, oh and top of everything let’s chose a child that has A disability to be those parents that are super loving, and cool. I just feel like they did the adoption not with the right intention. That’s how I even found out about them. And I’m never going to forget watching those videos and just getting a vibe of her being cold to him (get me ) I remember a video where she gave him a haircut 💇‍♂️ and honestly the hair cut was horrible. Like you couldn’t take him to get a haircut ?? I know I’m judging a lot, and probably shouldn’t, but man just thinking about the whole situation gets me mad! I watched there videos and thought they where amazing people for what they where doing, sadly I was wrong. Being a former kid in foster care and had some issue but never did my foster mother give up ever and I was truly grateful. My heart goes out to that little boy not to these two fake ass people that think it was okay to just give up dispute his condition, just shows who they really are.
