Thank you for this tutorial. It has actually been the most helpful to me! I have had this device for a while but other tutorials have put me off using it as they were for professionals mainly. Now i will put your video on and make use of this much loved microcurrent 😊💋
To really target eyes and lift them wouldn't it make sense to use educate on the frontalis muscle? And also wouldn't it make sense to erase at the end? Also I'm really surprised that the 7 e wellness has no training videos on their website? Why do I need to come and search around youtube when there should be several good quality videos on how to use this device. That needs to change, People don't buy this expensive of a device and not have access on the sellers website to learning tutorials.
If we are pressed for time (or too lazy) can we spot treat only certain areas (besides using eye and lip masks) instead of full face? Also, how to use the splitters to use face and lip masks at the same time? I thought you needed another Myolift device to plug each mask in separately. Thanks for your help!
Only my second time using my Mini. I found that I would hit Pause to put on more gel or when you said to turn intensity up or down. Then I'd forget to put it on Run so I'd have to rewind the video a bit to start a section again!
Please clarify the reason we are able to increase the intensity over time when we don’t want to feel current or muscle twitching because it will prevent ATP from being produced. Thank you for explaining this because I also don’t know how to tell when to increase the current or move to level 2. One more thing! Why doesn’t the erase setting lengthen the muscle or stretch the skin? Love the science!
Is it OK if you just have time to do the erase setting and you don’t do the educate setting. Is it OK if you just use the erase setting most of the time.
@@selectiveoutrage6617 It still doesn’t take up the full screen because it looks like that whatever device used to making this recording recording it is recorded in portrait instead of landscape, so it still doesn’t fill up the window and there is more black space than video. But thanks for the suggestion.
Thank you for a great tutorial!!! What about pressure?? Do I have to use pressure or be gentle with face muscle? Is it more like just a touch with probes or actually need to use some pressure??
I’m 67 years old and have pretty decent skin but I do have the marionette lines sagging skin a lot near the lower mouth area in the corners and I don’t see any results happening and I was wondering how often is it safe for me to use this device because in the instructional it says to only use three times a week for a certain amount of time and then move to only twice a month so how often can you actually use this
I had the nuface mini and would get severe dry skin as well as flashing in my eyes when using on my forehead. I returned it and was curious to try this machine next/ but curious if I would still get these side effects... do you know if this is just inherent with micro current?
Hello! The flashing in the eyes is a normal phenomena to experience with this modality regardless of brand. When targeting the fine lines and muscles around the eyes you may experience visual flashing or strobing. This strobing happens in the ocular area because the ocular nerve can sense the flow of the current going into the skin and muscles. We are pushing and directing the current into the skin and this current is a waveform. The perk of having a MyoLift Mini is that you can reduce the intensity as much as necessary if this sensation is bothering you. Severe dry skin, however, is a different issue. MyoLift True Microcurrent™ would actually have the opposite result. Microcurrent should be very hydrating, especially if you use a hydrating serum before the treatment as microcurrent literally pushes the nutrients and ingredients of these products deeper into your skin. We also have our RePlenish Hydrating Spritzer which attracts and holds hydration to your skin while performing the treatment. I would suggest that what caused the severe dry skin was ingredients in your conductivity gel or other facial products.
Hi Beth! The probes' current is concentrated in the tips whereas with the gloves the current is spread throughout the whole glove. You will still get just as good of a lift and it will still give the same great results. You can increase the intensity a bit more while using the gloves. The gloves may be easier for beginners because you can feel the tissue and pressure you are using.
Is it okay to use Smartwater over the gel if the gel feels like it is getting dry? I have and I do get conductivity. Lastly, is it okay to only work on the muscles I think are an issue for me? Thank you in advance 🙏
Hello, I have a question about the contraindications for using Myolift Mini. After removing the braces, I have permanent metal wires on my teeth. Can i use Myolift?
Hello! Yes, you can still use MyoLift. It's important to note that almost everyone experiences a metallic taste when using microcurrent around the mouth, so don't be alarmed if that happens during your treatment.
When I use it around my eyes, I see flashes of light. I'm assuming that's okay and it's only if I feel muscles actually twitching that I need to turn down intensity, correct?
That is correct! Microcurrent is subsensory, so flashes and metallic taste in mouth is normal. Twitching means intensity is too high for the muscle to handle at the moment.
I feel more intensity under Educate mode. Turn up the intensity but not so much that your muscles twitch. Just make sure the connectivity bar is solid. Also make sure if you hit Pause to click again for Run. I make that mistake!
Hello Jennifer! Don't panic. There are a few things to consider in this case. The first is along the lines of what Michelle has said, consistency is key. Whether or not you're seeing a dramatic visible lift, the changes happening beneath the surface are still benefitting your skin and muscles. Change takes time, especially considering lifestyle factors (smoking, sun exposure, etc) and how dramatic of a change you are looking for. For example if you are trying to lift jowls that are extremely lax, you may need to visit a professional who has a higher intensity range with MyoLift 600 or MyoLift MD. I encourage calling our educators at 1.888.412.3160 for more guidance if you are feeling very discouraged. Otherwise, you can increase treatments to two-three times a week, increase intensity and continue practicing patience with the process! Best of luck!
The tutorial is helpful. I am using the device since 4-5 weeks almost 2-3 days in a week. I have a deep wrinkle under my eye. I do not see much of a change in that. Am I doing something wrong or when should I start seeing the results?
Yes! Many estheticians love using MyoLift Mini in their treatment room. It's also a great option to retail to your clients for home maintenance in between their treatments with you.
I haven't started my at home treatments yet. I was wondering how often should I do this. Should I do this daily, every other day or 3or 4 times a week? And, for 1,2, or 3 months before I start maintenance mode?
Hello! 3 times a week is the maximum we would recommend. You could do 1-3 treatments a week for up to 12 weeks and then move to 1-2 treatments a month for maintenance.
@@monak2069 What you must have on hand is a conductive gel. We have gels in stock! Our RePlenish Hydrating Spritzer is not required for treatment, but is a great tool to have on hand if you have more dry skin to balance your skin's pH levels.
Hello! We apologize for the delayed response. We were facing delays during the onset of COVID-19 regulations in distribution, however we now have MyoLift™ Mini restocked.
Hello! We recommend avoiding retin-a for at least 24 hours before performing microcurrent facials. Microcurrent drives products deeper into the skin -- which is great for hydrating serums and other moisturizing products, but can irritate the skin with a strong product like retin-a.
Hello! You can use as often as every other day if you'd like. After you have reached your desired lift you can reduce frequency of treatment to once a month for maintainance.
This is exactly the same as Suzanne Somers face master which I have two of them and I’ve never tried I sure hope I can still use them because this seems to be exactly the same thing👍
Hi Diana! We are sorry to hear you were having a hard time getting ahold of us. We were experiencing much higher than average call and email correspondences during the onset of COVID-19 and our little team was working overtime to cover all our bases. We hope to be more responsive now that we have replenished our MyoLift™ Mini inventory and inquiries have leveled back down to normal. Thank you for your patience and feedback!
