Doctor, please do your research properly before concluding, 1. Initial myopia is generally a pseudo myopia, which is not the elongation of the eye ball but its the muscle spasm due to prolong use of eyes to see near objects 2. Then people go to doctors like you, which should tell the way to release muscle spasm, instead refer people to wear glasses 3. Now once people start wearing glasses, problem of eye ball elongation starts 4. People use their full prescribed lens to see near objects leading the eyes to enlarge, this process continues and problem gets worsen year by year So stop this, always wear low power glasses for near vision, and avoid wearing glasses as much, and do the opposite like gaze far as possible daily
From where you know this all? Yrr.. i found this information in various Quora's answer also. I know, no dr. Will tell us about this? My mom... tell me many times, avoid these glasses during normal chorus.. (except study and during laptop and phone uses). But i thought, if i do this.. my condition will go worsen. So i wear them.. continue from.., 7-8 year now. My no. Starts from. -1, -1 25 when i start, and now.., L -2.75 and R -4. Now.. i want to get rid of my spects. But.. due to dry eyes. . Side effects after lasik, i don't want to go for it. I already hv a lil bit dry eyes symptoms already. When i diagnosed with it, i changed my life style... so basically it's under control. But spects... feels heavy now. I don't want to wear them. I hv squint also. I am thinking about to hv squint, surgery. And thinking about hv VT under dr. Consultation. The fact is... No studies showed any conclusive evidences about how actually myopia occurs... Many studies are contradictory to each other... How can you say this with full confidence ?
Halka .5 ya 0.25 kam hi use karna chahiye aur ghar me agar power kam h to no glass . aur jyada h to kam power wala lekin full prescription ka hamesha ek rakhna chahiye chasma . Aur baaki bahar khelna kudna ghumna itte se rate slow rehti h

Real myopia control, is to get my Snellen to change from 20/60 to 20/20. That is from -1 Diopters to +0.5 Diopters. Yes, that is possible. Thanks for helping me with that goal.

Yes, I have false myopia of -1.5 and every optometrist prescribes me these glasses wondering how I can live without them. I once ordered a -0.75 glasses that I only wear while driving at night. Otherwise I use a +0.5 glasses to read and work on the computer. Luckly so my distance sight did not get worse 🥰

So should I wear them regularly or not... The doc said wear these for 8 hours straight daily.. It will be cured... So should I wear them or not
@@zaynnnnnnnnnnnnnnn definitely don't wear them regularly. In 6 months you will need even stronger glasses. Wear them only while driving (if you drive).
