I have been a very big fan of Stevie Nicks from hearing Rhianna way back in 1976 then Rumours and I have every album of hers, Fleetwood Mac and the Buckingham Nicks album and have seen her sing this song live numerous times, but Amelie you have blown me away😮 I never ever thought someone else would make the hairs stand on end like Stevie does. There are very few covers I like but I’ve just added this to my short list👏 thank you Myrkur😘🥰🥰🥰
it is so good to hear you again Amalie, I love Stevie Nicks, and I am always pleased to hear/see all you have shared and am always hoping to hear more, it probably gets tedious some times, just try to remember you are truly loved by many, you inspire me and many others for sure, I am so glad to be alive to witness your amazing music I love it all very much and your beautiful and natural musical spirit is exactly what this world needs more of right now:)
I have a mutual respect for both artist, and their contribution to music. However, what I lack to understand is the hate front woman of Myrkur receives, especially from the metal community. The artist not once mentioned her band was black metal, but was inspired by. She's highly talented as a vocalist, songwriter, and instrumentalist. Seeing her share the stage with Corgan is pure Magick.
I think I cracked the real Social Democracy of Scandinavia obsession among the current Left in America. Women who look like her are working in MacDonald's, in those countries, and not on the way to something better. No woman that hot is ALLOWED to choose such a "fate" here, and who could afford it anyway? There is an equivalent of the brain drain, not to be crude.
I closed my eyes and tried to feel Stevie Nick's presence in your voice, and the sound quality is not good enough for my comparison. Not to pigeon hole you, but now I would love to hear this in studio. Have you recorded any covers, or more precisely sung in English any song in a voice you seek to "channel" with your hands on the production? Sorry, I always ask the hard artistic questions. You are very talented, and a Sarah Jaroz collaboration is getting me buzzing. Us "white" people have cultural music too.
I really don't want to be a hater because I've heard some of her other music and she IS very talented but I think this sounds awful. I've listened really closely in case i'm missing anything but it just sounds out of time completely. I just heard some dude picking a guitar and someone singing the lyrics to landslide.
Just to comment on the video, it's true, it doesn't give it justice. I was there, front rows, and it was something spectacular and amazing, while the sound on this video sounds nothing like it!
Isn't that the beautiful thing about music and art in general? Many different types, all beautiful in their own way, enough for everyone to enjoy. If an artist can do both, then why restrict them?
yeah well alone with her acoustic guitar and it would be musically perfect, not with some very average guitarplayers like here of that band what's their name again
