I remember from history. Julius ceasers wife was accused of adultery she was named in a divorce. But a woman said she was having an affair with her husband. ( double adultery) ceaser was a lawyer as well , he defended his wife and proved her innocent. Then, after the case , he filed for divorce and asked why ? He said that ceasers wife must be above reproach. . Whatever she was doing was enough for that women to believe it was happening, and others believed it . ( obviously the husband denied it )
