Myrtle Beach AFTER Hurricane / Tropical Storm Debby! Is Everything Back to Normal?!

We take you on a tour of Myrtle Beach, SC the day after Hurricane / Tropical Storm Debby to show what things look like after the storm and show whether everything is back to normal. We show what is open, and what the state of the roads are as well as whether there is any damage. We start the tour on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach and then we show the main boardwalk and take a walk on the beach to look at the dunes and state of the ocean and waves. We then go to Surfside Beach, SC and Garden City Beach South Carolina to assess the state of flooding there and if the roads are passable.

Hi Carmen, I'm so happy y'all made out well from the storm. My brother and sister in law out in Longs are fine too, thank god! I live just outside of Schenectady, NY, and we're getting what's left of Debby as I type. Lots of rain, and the winds seem to be picking up, but we'll be fine as well. Love your videos!

We had Downpour for two days in a row not to to bad flooding wise up here in Lebanon pa but heavy rain and winds no power outages were I live ! There might’ve been in other counties closer to where I live in Pennsylvania. We had a couple tornado warnings and watches, but It’s was pretty much it. No tornadoes touchdown and I know, but that was pretty much of the experience of Debbie up here in Lebanon county/Lebanon city that I experienced Glad you and Brian are safe

Good to see y'all are damage free from Debby and it was pretty much just a rain event. While you were out on the beach, was it high or low tide? Thanks for cruising down to GC. All those puddles in GC look like every other rainfall down there.

We were down there from Sunday the 4th till yesterday the 9th and it rained almost the entire time. We only got in the ocean one time. Was one of the most disappointing vacations.

Generally it's pretty good except for house insurance which is higher due to hurricanes. However, it depends on where you are moving from.

That is in Myrtle Beach but that is the Northern most end of the main strip, assuming you are referring to 82nd Ave North. We do not drive that far north in this video. It's pretty far from the central boardwalk area.
