Their feud was soo much more entertaining and realistic than the one between Laura and Myra 😂 they really looked and sounded like they hated each other hehe which is odd since myrtle was played by Jaleel white, it wasn’t even really between 2 women but I felt the anger women can sometimes feel between eachother hehe
@marskeins yep, they sure don't. the new Sitcoms suck and don't have that classic girl fights when it comes to a good looking guy having a girlfriend and his secret admiror
Apparently Jo Marie Payton was not a fan of Jaleel doing this bit because he said that she told him it was disgraceful to see black men being turned into sissies. There’s a whole interview about this with Jaleel.
people understood if you was gonna trip over a man do it while you young for the man you want so you don't end up a 40 years old cat lady with 3 kids and no husband...
At least Myrtle eventually gave up on Eddie when she realized he will never love her the same way he loves Greta, unlike Myra, who kept fighting for Steve's love even after he and Laura were engaged.
It’s an irresistible force meeting an immovable object. Best to just clear the area and let them settle their dispute in a way worthy of sitcom comedy - with a really big fight that takes all of the wedding decorations with them.
the rivelry between Myrtle & Greta when it comes to fighting over Eddie is perfect especially when they hurl insults at each other. their insults are the best part of their constant cat-fights
The ríevely between myrlel g Greta when it comes to fighting over Eddie is perfect especially when they hurl insults at each other their insults are the best part of their constant cat fights 😂😂😂 😂😂😂😅
@@RaiderRSupastar I will never understand why anyone would obsess over anyone who clearly didn't want him or her. Going to great lengths as Myrtle did would only drive Eddie closer to Greta.
@@kathrynmullaney765 Right. At least in the case of Myra, Steve was willing to date her (granted he would not give up his love for Laura), and in the case of Laura, Steve got subtle hints she'd return his devotion to her (for instance, Laura getting jealous when he dated Suzie and Myra).
@@Aurasoul. Yeah... I mean while Myrtle is played by Jaleel White, the concept of two females fighting over a guy make Me forget that one of them is played by a guy
Myrtle Urkel and Greta's long feud over Eddie Winslow, lasted from Season 7 to Season 9. From Season 7 Episode 6 ("She's Back") to Season 9 Episode 16 ("Whose Man Is It Anyway?"). This is one of my favorite episodes in every season with 2 woman fighting over a guy. Best moments.
I’m saving this cause I love me some Jaleel White…. When he calls her a Windy City wench” pass her saying corn poke hands … they had to ad-lib that……🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Myrtle's jealous of Greta's beauty. Myrtle retaliates against Greta but if she was smart enough, she would've realized that Eddie would lose interest in her.
The reason behind that was because Eddie was not interested in Myrtle and saw her annoying. Hence it was easy for Greta to ward her off. Whereas, Steve had a reason to be very protective of Laura. Most of the guys she dates will likely take her for granted and hurt her. While they like to bully him, it usually ends with him warding them off.
Man, i always thought i hallucinated and misremembered how off the rails this entire back and forth between Greta and Myrtle was. Nope it was pure chaos 😅
No he was never. And he didn’t want to be a movie a start. You guys and this underrated crap. During the 90’s. He was never underrated. Which was why the show eventually revolved around him.
