Mysta is a really sweet and mature person, it does make sense to adopt a kid who genuinely needs a home and love rather than continuing to contribute to overpopulation and have someone you love go through 9 months of torture

true, but adopting kids has its downside too. im not saying all adopted kids are like this, but a lot of them rebel and mistreat their caretakers. or after they find out theyre adopted, they run away. its usually because of trauma that hasnt been treated, which makes most of them act negatively to cover up their trauma of being abused or mistreated by their parents. or, some were thinking why did their bio parents give up on them? again, a lot reacted negatively, and since most cant meet their bio parents, they take out their anger and frustration on their new caretakers.
@leaf3889
@leaf3889 Год назад
True, but also there are parents who act as if their kids owe them everything and are their property, not individuals with their own desires, needs, and dreams. They'll question why they were born, and other mental struggles are kept to themselves; they can't take them to their parents. It's seen as ungratefulness for everything they've done for you and for giving you life, so bam, depression or something. Not everyone is privileged to be born into a well-off family. They experience trauma as well, but they're just better at hiding it from their parents. With parents or not, every kid suffers one way or another. It's the world that's making it harder to survive physically, mentally, and financially every day. They're both preventable with good parenting, but one of them is totally out of the adoptee's control, like being an orphan. The adoptee couldn't prevent that.
@28_futaba

The same goes for adoptive parents, and there's been SO MANY cases of biological parents having their babies taken away from them despite no abuse and the system doesn't allow them to get them back

@Allyfyn
@Allyfyn Год назад
The thing is, after child birth tonnes of certain hormones and chemicals get release into the brain and make the mother happy, forget the pain, and want to have another child. So really, mothers aren't the ones who should be telling you that, even though most of the time it's the mothers who do.

Ironically with Mystas ability to empathize, emocially support, listen and being open minded he would be a damn good parent for either boy or a girl with one change. If he changed his focus from trying to prevent pain from ever happening to healing and supporting, the kid would turn out healthy and happy no matter the gender. And he already knows how to be like that so yea. Tho it is understandable from his life why he feels the need to prevent pain. I'm still proud of him and his journey.

I think they describe the experience as beautiful is because the contrast of the before and after. The woman goes through a really hard time. All that pain and suffering and in the end a joy that wipes away your memory of the pain as you get to hold the child you've been creating a bond with for 9 months. Now not everyone will see it that way due to circumstances but that's how it's suppose to be. No babies without planning guys!
@Allyfyn

This is such a nice thought to hear from Mysta, I've always thought the same. His takes are always so different from what you hear because of his background but are a true reality we often don't get to hear from and I always appreciate him sharing. Society makes it seem like giving birth is a seamless process but there's so much that goes into it and it's really hard to make sure everything goes well! It's a serious thing to consider. Also for adoptions as well that you have to make sure you are serious in providing the necessary support and care needed for these children who often have many emotional and mental needs.

If couples have every aspect ready and mature, outsiders should have no right to butt their "opinion" in it, I firmly disagree there's a "right" way to build a family. I think it's really common sense, but I hope you don't judge a pregnant lady/ppl for being "selfish" just for being pregnant, I understand ppl have different opinions but pls, don't judge pregnant ppl, at very least, don't judge them openly.(or you don't, thankfully, but your wording in ur comment makes me really angry)

Also, we kind of have to keep procreating, or the human race just dies off. So painful as it may look, it's necessary for our continued survival. Also, life is far from easy, in this modern world, for boys/men. I wouldn't want to grow up, as a boy, in a world where being any form of masculine is demonized. Secondly it is that out social expectations and our environment is very much responsible for our choice of careers, and if its not actively encouraged by the government and our social groups, the % of you choosing said career goes to none.
