I walked away from my first polar bear trip with many unanswered questions. During the trip questions were raised, but remain unanswered. Researching did not answer the questions. Rinie van Meurs is an exceptional expedition leader. His word choice and actions are what set him apart from other expedition guides. His knowledge of climate change and the arctic region are extensive, but as you heard in the video - he readily acknowledges findings and educates you, but he does not commit to one theory, which provides for further research opportunities. Moreover, by not swaying you in your thoughts you learn and understand more.
I booked my trip with Waterproof Expeditions. I recommend you investigate them first before booking your Arctic trip. I will be traveling with them on a different trip later this year and will upload the video.

This trip was amazing for me. It was not a dream come true trip as it applies to wanting to see polar bears since I was a child or even an adult. However, it was a dream come true trip because of the experience. My point is look at Rinie’s website

Like Rinie, I started from small beginnings. His choice to start as a potato peeler gave me the opportunity to experience the Arctic in a rare way.
