Thanks to Keywan who helped out with this episode. This remake of an earlier episode I had since deleted was meant to go out weeks ago, but there was some issues that prevented that. Please after you have watched this pop over to his personal channel The Library of Wisdom. The link is in the description box above. Also I have a backlog of episodes coming up including a collaboration/cross over episodes with another big channel, so make sure you are subscribed.
Thank you for more amazing content, it is always so full of information. I see the notification pop up and get so excited ! Thank u to the gentleman who is narrator ,beautiful job and love the accent . It makes the channel even better hearing the Native language. 🥰❤ Blessings to u all. 🤲🏽
Just wanted to say once again for putting these in english :) I can't get enough of your videos! These are awesome and very informative! 👏👏👏 I very much appreciate you and your team !
Even if there was an awards ceremony for this platform it would go to the same people who have millions of subscribers but if you ask somebody who they are, they'll have no idea what TF you're talking about.
One of the lesser known supernatural powers of the assassins was their purported ability to climb to a high place and look across the landscape which would give them an instantaneous mental map of the entire area.
There’s probably tons of this content online already! Check out esoterica. I really like this account being focused on Islamic traditions and folklore as it’s a community that I know very little about and have little exposure to. This channel is awesome 💪
@@ghoulboards I love Esoterica but I believe Justin Sledge focuses primarily on rabbinic and Jewish occult knowledge. Pre-Islamic occult traditions would be referencing Pagan Arabic culture more than Jewish.
@@DamienZshadow Ahhh makes more sense. I read pre-islamic as prior to islam, not necessarily associated with arabic culture. I see what yall mean! I would be very interested in that as well. ancient semitic cultures are also very fascinating to me
Hassan Al Sabbah is one of the most mysterious and coolest figures in history. Dude was a hash smoking psychedelic fueled middle eastern psychic ninja. Supposedly a/the father of the modern day "Illuminati" as well. Robert Anton Wilson researched and wrote about him a lot. Recommend checking out his work.
@@snowmoon7385 occult just means hidden. I dont think all occultists are evil. If you held that perspective, then according to a western though all native americans are evil because they practice nature based worship that you dont jive too.
So did William S Burroughs! I find it interesting how Burroughs was the first to coin "the 23 enigma", and the fact the original Templars had 23 key/council members...
I am from Iran, so I would write what I heard from my father about this: "Assassin" comes from the arabic word "Hashashin", which means: "Consumers of Hashish (a type of drugs)". Muslims of Nizari branch of Ismaili Shia, in the Castle of "Alamut" (near Qazvin, Iran), were called "Hashashins", because their leader, "Hassan Sabah", had his followers addicted to this drug. This addiction used to make them loyal to him, because they, obviously, wanted to receive more. Moreover, it was probably responsible for decreasing his soldiers' anxiety levels when killing his enemies, thus they performed so well, and earned a worldwide reputation for themselves. It is believed that "Seljuk Emipre"(Rulers of Iran (Persia) at the time), sent Hassan Sabah many envoys. They were either killed or reported the way to the castle to be impassable and very dangerous (which is true, becuase I went there and the way to the castle is horrendous. The valleys are as deep as I was extremely terrified, and didn't want to continue driving). My father said that the "jumping from tall buildings in a stylish way", has become the symbol of this game, is because once one of these envoys reaches the castle and Hassan Sabah accepts to meet him. The message from the central government (Seljuks) to Hassan Sabah was of course a threat that he should stop having his own country within their country! In order to show his power, Hassan sabah then asks some of his soldiers to stand in front of the windows of the castle, and asks them to jump down from the building and die for his cause in front of the envoy. The envoy would then go back to his masters with this terrifying message that Hassan Sabah followers are ready to die for their leader, no matter what! Though at the end of the day, members of the Creed were killers (and in Iran are known to be the first terrorists). I am glad, in English, the word "Assassin", which has its roots from the Middle East, is more being seen as something like "Ninja", and is not equivalent of Terrorist, just because they were from the Middle East! (Really...Why are Ninja's not being seen as terrorists?!) As I said I visited the castle, and it is unfortunately destroyed. The remaining parts are also mostly covered by the Iranian government. But, if you ever go there, you can enjoy the amazing scenery of the scary, yet beautiful valley in front of the castle.
Love the "freshly baked hotcakes" part! Sounds suspiciously like Hot-Cross Buns. One wonders if Bram Stoker got some ideas from the supernatural abilities of these medieval Near Eastern occultists. Probably. Most of occidental occulted culture and knowledge derives from various parts of the MENA.
The segment is really amazing. The Assassin Creed Ismailis chose the Castle of Death, and this was the largest and strongest of the castles, and the goal of Sheikh Hassan Al-Sabah was to spread the call to the Ismaili doctrine with the support of the Fatimid state. The base motto is Creed. If you do not have enough army to confront the enemy, hit the enemy behind his back until their number decreases little by little.
🤯 ....... Just..... 🤔...... wow! Tracing back tyese organizations is hard enough, and when they're "secret" so much mystery and lies that must be sifted through... WOW! Thanks to the MME Team, narrators, graphics, sound, research, Patrons and fans - let's see how far this rabbit hole goes 🥳
Another absolutely incredible video on a subject that I've been extremely interested in but haven't been able to find the info. Thank you! Add this video to the list of reasons I love this channel
Maybe its not run by decendants of Hassan Sabbah but certainly by people that have the knowledge. In Turkey we have a crazy past and present with organizations like this..
Funniest thing Drake has Egyptian routes, he use an Owl as his symbol and most of his videos, I always see video vixen wearing egyptian related attires. Some young rappers who beefed him or enemies to him all died under mysterious way
Greetings mysterious Middle East, always extremely informative and love the way you connect the dots with history and events a complete narrative thanks to your good work, will continue to enjoy the true history you are sharing.
Greetings from Portugal. Thank you for your insights and the dwelve into the mysteries. The Iberic peninsula had so much influence by the North of Africa and middle east. I Will be waiting on the next topic about knights of templar. Inshalla
Thank you. I try to see all of your offerings. I'm never disappointed. Today, I would like to give Frank Herbert (DUNE) credit for bringing some of this to us in fictional form. He must have been entirely enamored. I've never seen so many references, connections to make, but I'm sure more will come to me. Also, I envy him being "the only one" to see, and be fascinated by the historical stories of the Mysterious Middle East, back in the day. The things he must have known!
Fascinating topic. This video raises so many questions in so many different directions. I wonder if people who have more advanced paranormal abilities are part Sith ( the Scots term for Djinn) and how such a race could affect the minds of men. Like you have said you are just scratching the surface. I recommend to you both the works of Dr. Joseph P. Farrell ( Vipers of Venice) and Mack Tonnes. You might find them interesting. Shakrin and Peace.
There are follow up videos on the topic? Oh boy, I cant wait. And I honestly, I can't imagine anybody else doing a better job covering the subject then you already did with this one!
Perfect timing for this video, now that a new AC game has been announced and by the looks of it they are going back to it's roots and it's gonna take place in middle East.
So good to see that You posted, i missed you! Very interesting, could this secret organization still be prevalent today, i am on the side of Yes. Celebrity is steeped in Occultism from pure evil to misguided but it has been quite obvious that certain people have met their unnatural ends. It was interesting to hear about the Mongol Empire & The Assassins Creed, i learn so much from this channel, history not taught to me in schools or in life but through seeking instead. I think that as the seen becomes unseen that The Nizari Ismailis may well of risen again don't You? People say the same about The Knights Templar as well. As always many Thanks for the History & The Orator Keywan Nikousefat, i enjoy this channel very much. ✌
Some embraced christianity and evolved into templars and later illuminatti of tactical military & intelligence gathering ?! Gnostic Sufism continues today ? Could the original psychic abilities have come from reptilians and/or nephilim ??
Great Video. I really enjoy your Perspective and Information. Thus far any video on the Levant had to have an Anglo-voice over, I like bypassing that tradition and listening to You anytime!
Awesome video and channel. I once watched a video testimony of an ex hashassins...who was under an mkultra program(cant recall which one). Her dad was one of the kings in a Muslim country. But she also had persian and ancient celtic bloodline. I have tried looking for her interviews but seems it's all been scrubbed from the net. Thank u so much for sharing this knowledge in ur videos. You cover many topics which is very irrelevant.. God bless. 🙏💖From Fiji.
There is some nice script writing being done to make this content possible. I appreciate the clever, knowing manner a style of story-telling combines with deft flicks of news-package-styled commentary. If you happen to be looking for talent in your script writing area, I'd be happy to try my luck. I ghost-write stories as a profession. -- Tabisch
In all honesty, This topic about the assassins order and the knight templar is much more fascinating than just about djinn. I wrote this to you guys as an attempt to encourage you guys to do part 2 of this topic soon
Please do a video on the Alumbrados in Spain, two of their most prominent figures were Antonio de Medrano and Francisca Hernandez (I carry both their surnames today). It would be fascinating to see what you put together. Great video!
Saladin was a man who was not afraid at all, but he really felt fear of murderers because of the inventions that happened. One day a servant came and said to him: "Sir, I have an important message for you, so I ask you to clear the meeting." Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi asked the ministers to leave the meeting. But one man strayed with me, Saladin. "This is a secret message and I asked you to expel everyone," the minister told Salahuddin. Saladin replied: This man is the most reliable of men, and I love this man as I love my son, so do not worry. The minister gave the Assassin's password to the man whom Saladin considered like her son, and after the man heard the password, and this word was the assassins' secret word, the man placed a dagger. on his neck. On Saladin. And he prepared to kill Salah ad-Din completely, as it turned out that the minister affiliated with Salah ad-Din, as well as the man whom Salah ad-Din considered as his son, turned out to be from the Assassins, and here was the great shock to Salah ad-Din al-Ayyubi, as he lost confidence in all ministers and every person, even the closest people to him .
When a man have such power, he must take care of every step he made, every drink or meal he takes, and, especially, who surrounds him. In comparison with western kings, he was way clever.
@Isaac Duran They are the Assassins Creed team Ismaili Nizari Shiite. Who terrified the world and planted a secret state. Its goal is to control the Islamic countries and assassinate the enemies, and they called themselves. In the name of the owners of the new call as well as the Muslim fedayeen
@@josemanuel5131 It was a message first, but in the second message is the real murder. Wardo killed him, but he locked himself up so that they wouldn't reach him
@@kenallen9082 Their descendants are still there, but their descendants have become businessmen, but there are those who took their idea, such as the Free Masons or Freemasonry and international Zionism
Much better if you ask me. Netflix would have made some soulless watered down hour long version with wanna be experts talking out of their you know what.
What happened to the old video about the Assassins and the Old Man of the Mountain? That was fascinating and really enjoyable, particularly the descriptions of the Old Man.
About rashid ad sinan, now i know, why altair try to burn al muallim body,he want to see ghost or spirit came out from that body. Because rashid is expert in alchemist and magic. It's look like assassin creed really did great research, and assassin creed revelations by far,one of the best i play, now new assassin creed will come, assassin creed mirage take timeline in baghdad, and i remember that year around 900 ad or something, it's a story before assassin creed 2007 which take timeline between crusade 2 and 3,but mirage take a place before that year, and it will be interesting.
It's interesting to see parallels with Frank Herbert's Dune, who clearly included a lot of Arabic cultural inspirations: the Fremen "Fedaykin", the promised saviour "Mahdi", which is also similar to Paul's chosen name "Muad'dib" and so on.
In Frank Herbert's dune the entire premise of the Freeman is kind of based on Islam and the Eastern world. One can also say that the various houses in dune also represent various countries here on Earth. Now that that's out of the way allow me to get to my real point, since the dawn of human written civilization the employment of murder or assassination is perhaps one of the oldest jobs in human history right up there next to thievery. I am a real big assassin's Creed fan which is why I've continued to follow the stories up to this point however, remember there were many other assassination organizations and cults out there that actually predate this one. Still though, it's always nice to learn something new about history that I didn't previously know in college.
Thanks for another great video. I’ve never been into video games but my son plays assisins creed so it’s neet to learn. I guess being an ancient country Syria and the Middle East does have spooky happenings. In the beginning of your video you mention there are a lot of strange anomolies in Syria. It would be cool to hear all the ghost stories there or strange and unusual. I’d love to hear of all the hauntings there. I also liked your video on the vanishing house
