That is one friggin weird place to put a darn toilet. The communal shitter. Haha. I still have my clawfoot tub. Awesome explore. Big Hugs from Alberta. 😊😊
Something about these places always gives me a real sense of melancholy. Like, I would have liked to have known whoever lived here. Thanks for sharing.
I really liked that house, you could move straight into it BUT...... the toilet on the landing! Strangest thing I've ever seen, you could put a screen around it I suppose?
I know someone needs one them C pap machines that has a snorin problem one my friends..and Wow a claw foot tub with the curtain holy crap id be pullin that thing out of there and in my house..
Thats what they call hallway shittin cant put the toilet in a room probably won't fit had to go out in the hallway and thats funny as hell..u be like yellin downstairs dont come upstairs right now im droppin a stinkin load in the hallway..😂😂
That third bedroom from the one bedroom I would have made it a bathroom and had a closet in there. The bathroom with no walls should be made into a closet. Just my thoughts on remodeling.
That is the weirdest place for a toilet, it's as bad as a jail cell🤣 I didn't even see a can of air freshener near it. That looks like a nice house that could be fixed up and lived in again.
Yes, love you and your videos. Watching from California. All those rooms and no place for a toilet,Strange. Still Sad how people just leave and their belongings like nothing mattered. Good Video, Looking forward to next travelings. Stay Safe an Warm, ❤😊✌️
Wow! It's been a minute since I have caught up with your videos, but as always I ❤ them! At first glance (from the front), I thought it was going to be a cute little cottage type house. And THEN you walked around the side and it kept going!!! 😮 What a cool find!
Hi Dave. This was a cool wham bam thank you ma’am. That bathtub was neat. That upstairs toilet was crazy. I don’t know about you but I like some privacy when using the toilet. Were you sure it was hooked up? It might have just been placed there. Dave are you going to do your podcasts anymore. You know when you interview explorers. I thought that was very interesting. There are so many others I would like to see. I hope you do bring it back. Stay safe and well.👍🆒🏚️
Whenever I try to watch one of these videos I like to try and guess how long the place has been abandoned. With some of the stuff I saw it’s hard to tell but I saw at least three books first puslished in 2006, a phone book that was hard to tell but maybe around 2009, and a Glade air freshener that had a logo on it from no earlier than 2008 I believe (if memory is correct). Plus I don’t think those Naxolone kits have been around that long, maybe 2015-ish. I’m sure if I analyzed it more or spotted a calendar I would have better luck.
love your videos, a very interesting house layout that must have been lovely back in its day...well except for the umm...public toilet ? In the dark that shower curtain/bath combo would be unsettling !
Wait. What? Ok guys! I’m going upstairs to go to the bathroom! Like that’s way too much information. What a weird set up! Very weird. And the little stove. Apparently they didn’t cook. You can boil water and cook tv dinners with that thing. The house was nice though. Good bones!
Hello Dave from Illinois 👋and Thank you for taking me( us...lol) on an awesome abandoned adventure. I absolutely love the claw foot tub. I wonder sometimes why these homes are abandoned and all their personal things left behind. Keep up the awesome work you do 🫶
Couldn't have been abandoned too long. No dust. Just a bit of mouse droppings on the kitchen counter but aside from that, it's pretty clean. From Hamilton.
I am a nanny, and I worked for a family that had a toilet in the middle of the basement and nothing around it to give you privacy. They said it was an😊 EMERGENCY toilet, but they told people they were using it so no one would go downstairs! So, it's not uncommon to have a toilet in an odd place!
Loved how this house looked on the inside, reminded me of a loft for some reason 🤔 and im loving the complementary colours of white and grey everywhere. Looks all nice and freshly painted.. From Canada Ontario
The no privacy toilet upstairs is definitely odd looking. Maybe it was an after thought addition. You’d think the would’ve at least hung a curtain in front of it.. even if just a shower curtain. Lol
Jesus crap , why is a toilet there??..lol, i have definitely never seen that before. I hate stuff like this, sometimes the explorers i watch find interesting things in these homes but most dont try to find out the background story behind it. Maybe im jusy too curious..but i want to know the stories behind everything..
Wham Bam Thank You is an expression used for another thing I used to say it got into big trouble by saying it. so be very careful who you say this to.🤫😬
Nice video. That toilet was hysterical. How many times can you imagine someone walked out of one of those rooms while some other family member was dropping a load?
I would guess that someone had health issues and could no longer go up and down the stairs to use the bathroom so one had to be installed upstairs. That's what happened in the house I bought. They put a toilet in one of the bedroom closets 😆
I see by the pictures that there looks to be a dining room so I guess it was another bedroom that they made into an office. I like the porches. I was hoping that you would go onto the front porch and show that area
