The World Junior Girls Championship is an 11-round Swiss tournament taking place from 15-25 October 2019 in New Delhi, India.

Unfortunately this "mystery" is just a database error or the like. The real moves played in the game were Rxg8 and Qxg8 first, and only then Qf6. So nothing actually mysterious but a nice game by Dehankar.

It makes perfect sense. At 9:35 white does not have Qxf7+ forcing the queen trade but instead simply losing the queen, another typical Agadmator glitch.

When you think about it, the exchange sac on g8 had to have happened first, because after the Qf6 Ke1 Qf1# Kd2 Qf2# Kd1 Bd3 line White could play Qxf7# forcing the exchange of Queens, with a better game (or at least no great jeopardy). I think Black would have to take a perp.

You Know Agad. This Remind me of your game. When your opponent attacking by his Queen. And your position is about to lost Rook or the back rank pawn. And you choice to save/guard your pawn. And your oponent didnt capture your Rook rather he move back his Queen. And that game is Clasic format too. And maybe what she thinking same with what your oponent thought in your game. Thats why she didnt capture the Queen. She overthinking about the move and worried about some counter play too.

The reality is that it was actually a clever Rook sacrifice. For whatever reason the Rook taking the Bishop, and luring the Queen away, was missed. It is a shame that this video was about the assumed blunder as I feel the Rook trap was very nice.

Bro, you are doing a fine job. Please don't ruin it with click bait titles. In this case, leave the fact that the pgn was corrupt (such errors can happen to anyone), but here the Queen sacrifice didn't even take place. An attempt was made, which was a terrible mistake, followed by a more terrible mistake of not accepting it. Calling this game, even if it actually happened, 'the most mysterious Queen sacrifice in the history of chess' is a crime! We love you, and we don't think you need such headings to attract viewers! The error in the record is that black traded the rook for the bishop before the queen move, so the white queen was out of play while black cleaned up.

Sometimes Lions can get scared of you if you confidently walk towards them. Bluffing has always been a part of this game. With that being said, a free queen is a free queen. I would rather garb it immediately and lose the game later rather than been mentioned in a video in Agadmator's channel with the title "most mysterious queen sacrifice in the history of chess".

There are lot of factors to be considered. One of them is a negative psychology kind of hypnotinizing opponent to commit mistake though he/she is a knowledgeable player. The other factors are illusion, giving up, etc... I do play with opponent's psychology. Once I was in a winning position I gifted my rook in illusion and lost the game. This happens in atleast 1 of 100 games..

The only explanation I have for this is that maybe she thought it was her knight on d6 instead of her bishop so that Queen takes on f6 will be met will knight to e4, even then the move she played was poor so mysterious queen sac indeed 🤷🏿‍♂️
