My Grand Father passed in mid 1960's in Ogbomoso, but many people reported seeing him in places like Ilorin. Some said he started a new family! I was a child when I heard this story.

Ive seen one Akudaya before He was my classmate when he was Alive so he died after we left secondary school and I didnt know so we met on the road and we greeted eachother it was the second day that I went to a friends House and she told me dat the guy died a month ago

Reincarnation means rebirth please. I’ve seen an AKUDAYA before, we spent some hours together, he was my uncle and I’m very sure of what I’m saying.
@@aderibigbefelicia6906 yes u are right. But her story is akudaya in this case. Reincarnation is when someone dies, and is born again into that family or another family. Some will remember their past life and other don’t. I’ve seen cases where the kids remember their former life before they died, and told the stories. Akudaya, is a person who had died, and is seen by other people who didn’t know the person had passed.
I have seen something of such, a guy and a pregnant lady come to leave with us in Oyo town the only people that come to check them was there church people but no one knows the state they come from even there church member don't knw where they come from no one knew there names but the guy is a hustler he his a teacher and also go to garri processing farm but the lady don't do anything, the funniest thing that makes us knw the kind of person they are is immediately they gave birth to the baby after some days they left without notifying anyone without trace

I was in Modakeke that year 1993 I think. The Akudaya sent his wife and children home from the east( owerri) that incident happened around Ita sin in modakeke. And my mother is a living witness to Akudaya( her own mom) and she’s from modakeke too

My grandma died on her wedding day because she didn't like the man given to her to marry. She recainated and entered into the wife of her boyfriend before her demise she told us the story herself
Reincarnation is real but most people mistaken another person with their deceased relatives or friends . It’s true that people see another person that look exactly like you. I’ve seen someone that msg me that I look exactly like her friend’s brother, the guy is a celeb so it is easy to search and I see by myself, I smiled but after steering at his pic for a while, I didn’t see any resemblance again. So pls believe there are at least 2 people in this world that look and walk exactly like you. My grandmother died 2004 and I’ve came across so many people that look exactly like her in the market but when getting closer they changed totally.
I’m not disputing this theory as I’ve experienced same too. There had been times people told me they know someone or saw someone that looks exactly like me. I also have seen people that look exactly like people I know and even sometimes share their first names however, this doesn’t make the believe in the existence of AKUDAYA false or mythical. Truly people die and reincarnate in other places or same family with a whole new identity but then, same people could die and still relocate elsewhere wearing same identity to continue living their lives. My sister inlaw has had personal encounters with AKUDAYA twice; one of which died in COTONOU and she met her in IKORODU as a client at a fashion school where she was an apprentice. In her attempt to expose her to her boss they both got terribly sick and was revived through spiritual means. When I was a kid, I lost an uncle through poisoning. He was my father’s favorite uncle. As he went through pains the midnight he would later pass, my dad too had serious diarrhea that he crawled to the toilet at some point then it subsided at almost dawn, the time I suspect he succumbed to the cold hands of death. I knew that my uncle but when I saw him visit my grandmother, his sister, on same morning I became confused as a kid cos my parents had gone to bury him but I was only kid. Then around late afternoon, he stood up to quickly see a friend that lived down the street before he finally leaves and insisted nobody saw him out. In just two minutes, my father and his younger brother came in hoping to break the news to my grandmother then they heard that the same man they had gone to bury just left to see his friend. Everybody dashed out to see him, he couldn’t have gone far, he just left. Sir/ma, they went to call my grandmother’s pastor to come and help break the news. My grandmother and her daughter inlaw fell ill immediately. It was a serious matter. I was there and I saw him.

Am still wondering if humans are more powerful than God. If there is destiny at all how can it be changed or shoukd we say there is reincarnation. All i know is that we see our departed family members because i do see my ownnbrother infact he do help me when in trouble in my dreams infact at several occasions. But i have not seen my departed family which honestly ,i would love to

I love this topic but I would say nothing like akudaya as ideology .But souls exists after death and does not mattar if that person die of younger age or older age . This earth we living in is of many dimensions that of the people still alive , the dead and other dimensions I won’t talk about. The word Akudaya is having negative connotations which the Yorubas have to change. Me for one person I know some of these type souls even died many years back I know where they live but can’t enter the house and they have to live their own live till when again ELEDUMARE will give them new body to come back again . Better to be mature and if you know any of such souls let them be and let them live their new dispensation.
Almost all of my friends know there is Akudaya because 2001-2009 this woman was selling rice and beans with plantains with nice fresh day good stews to go with very early in the morning with a lot of big boys and girls as customers self , funny enough the week she was cut,my sailor friend had an altercation so much he pour all her rice and beans in the stew because she is not selling for him on time lol guess what ? Her name was Yahoo rice , after then her sister came to my estate saying she was told her late sister still alive in Lagos because she is from OYO state , cut all short her disappeared in front of everyone 😅 almost half of the nearby woods eat her food with nice palm oil 😅
Akudaiya only happens to those who die before the appointed time. If your father died at his appointed time he will never be an Akudaiya. It is not all deaths that come from God nor is it at the appointed time.
This is real. I saw one at my school(FGGC Oyo) back in 2006. She came to visit her sister in school. But she had died 3 days ago. I saw the lady. And it happened to my step brother. We buried him in the evening. But he had died the night before. But our cousin, neighbor and barber saw him later that day after her was buried. Hmmmm things dey sup oo!!! I once mentioned this to my pastor but he outrightly said it’s DEMONIC!!!! But to me, I know there are mysteries in this life that are not demonic but just because we don’t understand them.
My mother fell ill here in Lagos but was taken to our village in Ogun state for traditional care. On the Tuesday that preceded the Wednesday she finally died, she was reported being seen at the spots she usually goes to play in the neighborhood either sitting alone or looking for someone or something. Some even said she was seen carrying some goods that looked like she intended supplying as usual. They all however said she never replied their greetings or answered their calls. Meanwhile, she had stopped responding in the village but was still breathing. My brother too told me he saw her in Abuja on I think the Monday or same day twice at different locations but brushed it aside as a lookalike cos how would she be the one, it was impossible. I also thought I saw someone like her too twice at the busstop on the same Tuesday while returning home from work. That was no reincarnation. It was her we all saw.

That same week before he finally died, our cousin saw him in the market on Wednesday and she stopped him and they both had a conversation. Infact, our cousin said he told her he was traveling abroad by the weekend. And she also told us, he was looking so so clean and chubby. And my cousin asked my step brother, hey AYO I heard u were very sick. And she apologized for not coming to visit him soon. But he just laughed and told her not to worry. That he’s all good now, and he’ll be going to the US that weekend. And he died on Friday. But the whole time he was on his dying bed.
