Rudy has opened boxes, had conversations about it, waited days for shipping, owns his store, is supposedly the expert, made this video...and didnt look up anything for information...trolling or complete disaster newb?!

That's how I feel about all his videos " whoa what a nice pull" not anymore . Also everyone says sell back to your local lgs. Well my local lgs gies you 50 cents on the dollar AS CREDIT. So even if you happen to get a 10 dollar card it ain't worth it

@@danw3735 yes. magic prices arent that volatile. Theres preorder cope prices then within days of release rapid drops and then they bottom. The amount of times a common suddenly shot up from 10 cents to dollars isnt that often. If a card sucked when it came out it usualy stays sucking.

The Hurricane with the X symbol is Tenth Edition, not M10 or 2010. It came out in 2007.

the last 3 cards are: old border card (could be any 1 in a list of commons, uncommon and rares) new boarder rare or mythic any one of the like 121 or so foils. they all functionally have the same rarity.

Every slot is pulling from a list of exactly 121 cards. Functionally, this set has 15 rare slots, it just so happens that they put cards with every color rarity symbols in those slots.

Ruby, I opened two boxes, no foil mythics in any of them however by SCG prices box 1 was $267.60, box 2 was $247.70. Only including manamorphose, carpet of flowers, and demonic tutor in the common/uncommons. so worth a but more then that.

@@tomjung2750 Here are the keys to the kingdom: Brimstone Dragon ↓ Rhystic Study ↓ Wild Nacatl Figure that out and you can map every slot in each pack of the box.

played for almost 5 years, second time i ever bought a box (first was modern horizons) also, except for the foil slot and the pre M15 cards, they always reprinted the last version in which a card was printed

Got one of these boxes for $100 flat from my lgs and pulled almost $600 from it. Got a Mana crypt, Teferi's protection, Bloomtender, Demonic Tutor, Recruiter of the Guard, Sevala, and all the other massive hits. It was an absolutely nuts experience.

I have to say I like these boxes, wotc really did good on this. I love the concept of making a set out of the cards that aren't on the Reserved List, and keeping the same artwork. It'll bring people back, and I believe people will spend money to open these boxes

It was a very nice assortment, unlike the two boxes I opened. Mind you, 50+ rares in my first box and 5 mythics. Financially they totaled just $95. The second box surrendered less rares, about 35, and as many mythics as the first box. Total value on it: $116. Best pull: Teferi's Protection. But, hey, I got a good selection of cards and broke even on both boxes.

I know that a bunch of my cards will go down in value because of this, but I'm still so excited for this product. The only thing that bothers me is the little "reprint emblem" on the lower left. I wish it was a little more subtle, it makes all the cards look non-symmetric imo

I think the key to the value is that wizards wasnt thinking these cards are worth what their original counterpart is worth. All cards should be knocked a few notches below their non-symbol-in-the-bottomlefg counterparts

Rudy I know you expressed confusion about the value of the old cards that were reprinted. So basically, the cards are classified as being from the mystery booster packs. You can tell by looking in the bottom left corner where it shows the planeswalker symbol (and the black border if it is an old card. The mystery booster cards and foils hold significantly less value than their original counterparts.

Rudy, the way printing is structured from what ive seen is just the most recent printing of the card is what they reprint in the set. Im not sure with the specifically old border cards as they have their own slot in the pack, but the majority of it is why was most recently printed. The "GK1" card was a Guild Kit card.

All the printings are the MOST RECENT version, which is why there are Anthology versions instead of their OG Commander versions

I think they pick the all the weird print versions over the original versions is that those have the latest and updated oracle text/current formatting. They only do original frame if the most recent printing is white bordered (see Weathered Wayfarer).

Just opened my own box. I didn't get anything crazy, just a solid return on investment, though I only counted up the foils, rares, lands/artifacts, and multicolour slots. I think the most valuable card I got was a bloom tender, and then a solid amount of $3-$10 cards. Still, it was fun to see what I got, and at least some of the pulls seem like they'll be useful for some of the decks I'd like to assemble or just for having a weird and fun collection.
