I watched this when I was about 3 or 4 this guy never disappoints and I still to this day watch him. Also 2:27-2:30 i watched on replay all the time as a little kid. Keep up the good work.
very nostalgic video I'm here in 2024 and to this day I watch this video I love this video it's one of my favorite videos I hope you never end your channel because your channel is valuable
That wierd looking firetruck that is made to have a trailer remembers me of my childhood. My grandma had a bunch of old toy trucks from the 70s i think and one of those was exactly like that one.
Thank you all for the great comments everyone, I do enjoy making these videos for you guys and hearing your stories and memories as well. This is truly a fun hobby and it's nice to have a blast from the past every now and again to remind us where our passion for collecting stems from (for me anyway!). Thanks for sticking with me!
you have a superfan in my 3 year old son. He has watched mystery closet dozens and dozens of times. He kindly requests more mystery closet openings as he loves to admire your collection.
Wow, I finally found the video I've been looking for, I remembered I was 4 or 5 yrs old watching your videos, you are the reason why I collected hot wheels when I was a kid, I was so impressed with your collection and still do, I forgot about your RU-vid channel a long long time ago and I thought I could never find it but luckily I did ur RU-vid channel only has 4 letters 😅, now I am 14 you did made my childhood coming back to the old videos you made, hits me so hard with nostalgia, idk, you probably raised an entire generation just by the look of the number of views!, stay strong 💪
my son,3y.o. loves yr videos as well,he is into cars and toys and he actually finds you unrapping the cars of something fascinating, asking- what's next surprise?" his collection is immaculate, but not as much vintage yet~ Thank you for sharing !
Thank you for sharing your story and I am very happy to hear your son is a collector and viewer of mine! Lots of surprises coming, and all my videos are family friendly and always will be. Comments are moderated as well for any bad word.
You have some great pieces. Love the scale trucks. There are people here on RU-vid that restore these castings. Please do so. You probably have the most extensive collection of 64's. And the amount of "Junk" you have can be restored.
Thanks for your fast and detailed reply. It appears that items exactly the same with Plano boxes are not available in Taiwan. But your great collection inspired us to start to make some display shelves just like yours. Btw, when my 2.5 year old boy saw your video, he told me that he wants to sleep at your place. Thx and wish you have more and more interesting toy vehicles.
I do get that question a lot from younger viewers, and it is one that always brings a smile to me. Thank you for continuing to watch my videos, I appreciate your feedback!
Awesome vehicles, I love the Majorette tanker trucks. I love how they are all realistically sized compared to the regular sized cars, would've love to have those trucks as a kid. Great video.
Well that's the difference in collecting in the US or in Europe...those majorettes, matchbox, dinky toys...are so easy to find where i live but hot wheels are extremely difficult to find and in the US it is the other way...love your collection vids ! And the green matchbox low loader had a red and yellow Bulldozer with green rubber tracks on it, not a tank
yo bro ,... its been a minute love the mystery boxes or closets in your case its mystery ROOMS haha ill be checking out a few of your vids i have missed.. take care O-Dawg
I recently re-discovered this channel and RaceGrooves. I used to sit on my moms computer and watch this channel and RaceGrooves for hours at a time. Now I have my own collection, extremely small but big to someone who isn’t into toy cars, also. But it’s just the nostalgia, and the memory’s of me wanting to visit this guy’s house and look at all his cars, wow.
Nice trucks, the only ones that I would say aren't in scale with the Hotwheels are the Matchbox/Lesney Orange Six Wheel Scammell, and the White Scammell Wrecker. Having seen examples of both those brutes in the flesh I can tell you they would tower over some of those other trucks! :)
not actually a fire truck (tho it could pass for one), its cab to the MB Super Kings K-10 Car Transporter. The trailer came in a variety of colors, including white, like the one that was also in the box (at 7:55 ) i had it as a kid but could never figure out why it was so weirdly futuristic. it looked better suited to the Adventure 2000 line, do thats what i used it for 😅 hope this helps!
I’m going to go through my “mini” mainline collection of just under 2000 hotwheels and matchbox 1:64 models and get rid of many of the doubles or triples. I’ve got half or so on pegs like they were at the store.
Great video as always. may I ask what brand name of display/storage boxes do you use. I could do with some for my small vintage Lesney Matchbox collection.
