Mystery in Rural America!! 

In Kiowa County of Southeast Colorado, in the early summer of 1973 and again in 1993 at a different pasture. What this former sheriff is describing is exactly what happened to prime cows, bulls and older calves - all intact, reproducing animals. It was so weird and spooky... becoming dangerous because neighbor armed 13:51 vigilantes started patrolling at night with no lights on. The removal of skin and organs seemed to be done with laser-precision - very clean. No predation and no blood. The grass was flattened around the animal, no struggle, no tracks... At that time, we also had flying crafts that could move quickly in any plane - up, down, side to side. My dad and brother witnessed this and got themselves back home quickly.

I remember hearing this on the news, and reading stories in the newspaper. Did not know it was still happening, geez. Sure enjoyed listening to the sheriff 😊

My cousin on neighboring land lost a cow between dusk and dawn. The job wasn’t complete when he found the cow when he went to feed at sunup. The cow was still warm, heart, udder, brisket and skin around mouth was missing. That was two years ago. Last year we found two cows on our place that happened between Wednesday before Thanksgiving and Sunday after Thanksgiving during deer rifle season. My future son in law found them on Sunday after I walked the path on Wednesday and he walked the path the weekend prior in an open field. The big mystery on this one is we don’t have cattle on our place! It freaked him out! There have been several other incidents in the area and the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association is investigating.

I was talking to a rancher in Northern New Mexico and asked him about cattle mutilations, and asked if he was glad they stopped. He looked at me and said they haven't stopped - they just quit reporting them because they were tired of being made fun of for talking about them.

In the early ‘90’s this happened to three of our cows in PC Utah. The sheriff had no clue. Thought maybe “devil worshipping “.

Hey Trinity, I really appreciate your channel. Really love what you're doing, spreading information and sharing knowledge and wisdom. And I especially really enjoy you talking with this gentleman. Former sheriff and him telling you of this very mysterious series of events. It is very bizarre, especially the carcasses is decaying so rapidly but but I always think it's wonderful to hear stories like this. That are true but these stories need to be continuously passed down two younger generations

the creepiest information he gave was no known predators would not touch the carcasses. million dollar question: why???? what did they know???

Wait.. you’ve never heard of Skinwalker Ranch in Utah ? Brandon Fugal et al? This has been going on forever n a day and has been studied for decades with zero answers. It’s beyond human understanding

This was happening in Central Montana in the early to mid-70's. Stanford, Roy, Moore if I remember correctly. One of the local newspapers reported on it. It is still an unsolved mystery. Laser surgery was not available then.

Check out some writings of Linda Moulton - Howe on this topic. She was a young journalist from here in Idaho but working out of state when we had Cattle mutilations in the mid 1970's. The mutilations occurred in Washington and Adams counties if I remember correctly. She has written a number of books on mostly UFO' s and some on Cattle mutilations across the US. This is a very costly problem in the livestock community.

My unit was tasked with setting up on a ranch where a mutilation took place. We had strict orders that if we caught them, if there is any resistance at all. Remove them from life. They used anesthesia so dangerous they could remove organs while the cow was alive. But there was no signs the cow stumbled, no fluids spilled, no signs the cow was chased. Also the people that did this left no sign. No tracks no vehicles nothing. Based on that we were told not to take any chances with these people. The cowboy that found it told his boss. His boss called my boss. One of our investigators researched it and learned this wasn’t an isolated event. We sat in different pastures for weeks over night. Cold as bird snot in June. We were told to be on our A game because these guys were good. Nothing happened except one of our guys had a snake crawl over him. I had a deer walk up on me and sniff me. Hogs everywhere, happy healthy cows but no trespassing or anything abnormal. But yes this was a very strange case. It should be noted the landowners did not know we were tasked to do this until after we were done. I was almost busted buy two cowboys, heading to set up lane gates. But they didn’t see us. I actually later worked cows on that ranch. This was in the mid 1990’s.

I was living on a ranch between Camp Crook South Dakota and Ekalaka Montana about 1985. My neighbors had a steer get this treatment. He had been taken out of the feed lot but there were no tracks. Strangest thing I ever saw bar none. All the locals that saw it just scratched their heads and agreed that it was the strangest thing they had seen also.

Sounds like an unholy entity similar to alien abductions.

Oh there's some ideas on whats going on. In 1973 there was a wave of cattle mutilations across Kansas totaling 40 in 11 counties mostly along US Highway 81. Remember those are just the 40 that they found, who knows how many were never found. As recent as 2016 the Kansas Farm Bureau has offered a reward for anyone with information that leads to an arrest of the people responsible for this.

My brother-in-law has had similar experiences on his ranch in Western Colorado.

In the seventies, this was happening in the Flint Hills of Kansas. I heard about it from people in Elk, Butler counties.

Thanks for talking about this, I witnessed this same phenomenon in northeastern New Mexico in the summer of 1989. We ran yearling steers on leased mountain pastures. While driving to check cattle in a remote mountain pasture park, the yearlings were oddly running towards our vehicle on an old logging road. It was the middle of the day and when we found it in an open park, rigor mortis hadn’t yet set in. Upon inspection it had a hole in the sternum between its front legs and the sheath was completely gone, (we reasoned that the heart was probably taken) No blood, no bullet holes or arrows, and no tracks, which was strange because the ground was damp because it was the time of year we got rain almost every afternoon. We reported it to the colfax county sheriff’s department. They said they had seen other similar incidents.

I remember when that happened. I lived in Stevensville, Montana during that time.

I’m from the St Louis area and I absolutely remember that around this same time period these men are taking about seeing news reports about this same thing happening to cattle in our rural areas, mostly in Missouri. Only thing that differs is that these animals were also petrified. Then the reports just stopped, and Ive never heard anything mentioned about it again.

Really interesting. Have followed your channel for sometime now as i enjoy learnig about anything new. But this one really go me. Have heard about cattle mutations for many years. What i liked hearing was people who know about cattle and all aspects of working with them say, there was no fluids, no predators eating on the carcass, it deteriorated faster than normal, that was a new one. Keep on posting about life on the ranch.

I believe the San Antonio, TX area and Madison County, TX reported the same mutilations last year.

Trinity, You may want to talk to Wynn, we had these here also. FBI was also consulted on them. I believe these were across the Big Belts. This also concerned a man wearing a full gas mask and white suit in a van being spotted by someone near the mutilations.

It's not just cattle, it's also deer, and a bunch of other animals to even include reptiles. Within the past year or two i've read about this happening to people in south america. Linda moulton howe has been studying these events for years, l.a. marzulli also studies this. If you go down this rabbit hole you'll never get out.

When looking at cattle mutilations, they tend to be within the wind fall of military bases with nuclear weapons. Now im not saying this is the case but from where your proximity is on Pishkin Rd, You were within 2 or 3 miles from the Minute man silos.

This has happened in the western part of thr county l live in here in northern Utah - some time ago - strange happenings.

We had the same problem in northern Arkansas back in the late 70s. Remember this very well my uncle lost a cow in that manner.

Northwest Minnesota had some of this back in the mid 1970’s.

Minnesota Rancher. When I was young. 1981, I was working on a ranch in Idaho. We had 3 one year, got the sheriff out to do a report. Then one day I found the culprits. Yellow Jackets! They eat around any openings on a dead critter and once they aren't fresh, they disappear. Leaving very clean 'cuts'. Don't know if that solves all the cases, but be suspicious of them. Also once an animal is dead for a short period of time, the blood clots and it doesn't bleed when cut into.

Look into the Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. Similar events of animals being attacked, mutilated, and no blood. Wonder if they're connected.

Very interesting perspective on this problem. I have seen one such cow that showed these wounds here in Arkansas. However by the time I viewed the carcass it was beginning to meltdown and not much but observation could be done. Strange indeed.

I remember hearing stories back in the late 60s

Do remember the movie made in Longmont Colorado in 1979 about cattle modulations and my cousin was working on the site as on site Paramedic. A popular star was the star.

This has been going on in differance areas. I know of 2 that happend in the community I lived in as a child ,in North Dakota, this was almost 60 years ago. I saw this again in Montana,va few years back.

The same thing was happening in Georgia and Alabama in the 70's. I remember it on the front page of the newspaper. Also many times unmarked black helicopters were seen.

My Dad was a brand inspector for 30 some years here in Nebraska and I remember him being asked to ride along with the state investigator on some mutilation investigations in the early or mid 70’s. He didn’t talk about it that much but did say they were unexplained and spooky.I think he didn’t say much to us kids for fear of stirring us up.

When I was a child, my cousin's ranch had cow mutilations on his ranch. He took my Dad out to see them and my Dad came back shook. The cattle dogs wouldn't go up to them. The rest of the herd wouldn't come up to them. It happened two or three times. They found no answers. This was in the northern plains in Colorado close to the Nebraska border. Around the late 1960s and early 1970s.

I dont remember details but i remember in the 90s hearing stories like this, and some of the farmers saying it happened in 70s too. Thats all i remember.

Saw something similar in northern NM. Three cows laying in a perfect equilateral triangle. They said lightening did it.

It Art Bell's show with Linda Moulton Howe that I first heard about this. Also my son attended college in Las Vegas, New Mexico and the people in that area are experiencing it too.

CJ Box wrote about this issue a couple years ago - part of his Joe Picket series. Sounded like almost UFO or strange other world oddities.

Never had any mutilations that i ever heard of in my hometown in the Texas panhandle, but i sure saw a lot of "strange" lights in the sky.

This happened years back, in Rains County, Texas. It was much discussed at the time. Who has the know-how or equipment to do this? Who could get in and out without being seen? Even in rural areas, vehicles or aircraft are usually seen by somebody at some point along their route. And why would certain body parts be of any significance to them?

I noticed weird cattle deaths on my ranch shortly after the cv. A drone flew over my ranch near my house and dropped something into the heard. The cows ate what was dropped. 2 days later several cows died bleeding from the nose mouth eyes and rectum. I documented everything. I believe they were poisoned.

I saw a tv documentary on this a few years ago.

Working in New Mexico up on the Mescalaro resevation in 1980-3 we would find a dead cow and joke about that, but all the ones we saw were just filled with maggots and stunk like yesterdays news.

Sounds like a cult ritual of some sort.

I remember the exact same thing happened in South Eastern Utah / Carbon &, I believe, Emery Counties in the exact same time frame - the early 1970's, probably about 1974 to 1976! It was in the local newspapers! No one could ever explain what happened!

I've lived in eastern Washington all of my life and don't remember these kinds of things happening here.

This is a very familiar and similar story of other places in the central region of the united states west and southwest... I don't know about eastern. We have heard and read about these over the last forty or plus years...

Colorado had some of this in the 70's. I believe after as well! A blimp like the ones that survey the border, could be deployed in the general area once they start up.

Colorado , New Mexico , Arizona and Utah all had similar things happen from the late sixties up until present day , but the high point seemed to be mid seventies to early eighties

Trinity, what do you think of the "official" explanation that these were natural scavenging, eating of the soft tissues, blood pooling in the body and natural decomposition? Also, it has been postulated that prevalence of the reports correspond to areas/times when ranchers are in financial distress and or having conflicts with the Feds/BLM. I would think that ranchers, of all people, would be familiar with the variety of conditions an animals body goes through after death and would know the difference. Also, the ranchers I know are better in touch with reality than city dwellers and pointy headed academic types that judge them.

It happened near me in Nebraska also.

In the early 1980s we had at least one cow mutilated in our county in northern Colorado. I talked to the rancher who lost a heifer that way and there was a lot of talk about UFOs/space aliens being involved. This guy wasn't interested in extraterrestials but he did say "If I see those bastards I'll blow 'em out of the sky."

There are probably over a 100,000 such cases across the US , Canada and Mexico over the last 50 years. Still no answers.

The same thing was happening around Billings in the early 70's.

I believe something similar happened like that in north east Nebraska, back in the late 70's.

Cattle Mutilation was going on in Colorado back in the 60s too. And just a few years ago in Seneca Oregon. Seems like it was 5 bull's. 😮

We had cow mutalated here in Alberta Canada all about the same but had diamond shaped hole through the teeth
