This ride brought my attention to Gerstlauer and euro fighters. I’ve loved watching them ever since, and Gerstlauer is now my favorite coaster company. (I apologize if I screwed up spelling).

This is my absolute favorite roller coaster at Dollywood. All the spirals are dazzling. When we went directly ip, I honestly thought I was gonna fall out.

The worst (scariest/most unsettling) part is going straight up a lift. The best part is coming out upside down in the end! You slow down a bit and you can wave to the people walking by!

This is a very interesting Gerstlauer Euro-fighter because of its layout. You don't get that on a common Euro-fighter.

this area of the park was empty until the timber tower opened in 06, this ride was first opened in 2007, it was themed after the "flooded mine" log ride that was there untill about the early 2000's, if that helps you.

Mystery Mine was the first Gerstlauer Euro-fighter in the US so the United States has a pretty unique Euro-fighter on their hands.

There was a log ride in Dollywood the last time I visited ten years ago. The theming and the fact that there are two rows in the queue lead me to think this was a log ride at one point too. Maybe they just replaced the chute with some modified tracks?

It’s the only euro fighter I’ve ever ridden so I can’t really say but it’s definitely different. The first time I rode it I was with my sister, and was blown away, went off shaking. We then went to Thunderhead (also my first time) and my sister was convinced I was broken for a few hours.

I went to Dollywood earlier today, I absolutely despise upside down roller coasters ( I do the twist part though ) so do you think I would like it? I’m going back tomorrow and I’m thinking about trying it.. tell me how much you’d rate it 1/10 ( 1 as if it’s awful and wish it wasn’t a ride and 10 as if it was like AMAZING )

On my scale this is somewhere around a 4. Slow ride with a few upside bits and some vertical drops. I'd say Expedition Everest is just a tad higher at 5.
