Okay, question. Why am I able to speak about my trauma almost jokingly when someone asks or I’m talking to a therapist? It has changed who I am completely and it has affected me, and at times my trauma will almost halt my thoughts and feelings. It’s confusing to be able to talk so easily about stuff like that, only to feel completely overwhelmed when I’m alone, or at a different time?
