Great review. I scored a good deal on a Bridger 45 on eBay, but I’m still interested in the 65 for a longer trip next summer. The color of yours is really nice, too. Matches your poles very well.
Can you offer a detailed list of what you carry to get it to 50+ pounds? Thanks for the review... I plan to ruck 100 miles soon with this pack or the 45...
The burden we bear....I too tend to carry a bit of weight and I'm looking for a pack that can comfortably handle it. This pack thus far seems to be the best option. If it can handle a 55-60lb load for you then it should handle the 40-45 I typically carry... And might I add this pack looks freaking great....love the color
Just ordered one of these and a baltoro 65. Going to see which I prefer. I am also a photographer and done spending $400-$500 on camera bags that are not adjustable and have a baby waist belt.
Absolutely! I’ve been running this pack for a year now and I still love it. As long as you don’t exceed the weight limit it’s the most comfortable pack I’ve personally ever owned. It as more space than most people need. One of my favorite features is the detachable bag on the top that turns into a fanny pack. It’s also extremely durable while being light weight.
They just went on sale! I'm thinking about getting one. Kinda wish it had one of those water bottle pocket that lean forward. Is that a dumb thing to worry about?
Not at all I get picky about my gear. I Will say I bet you’d still love this bag. It’s pretty easy to get your water bottle in and out plus if it’s a smaller diameter than the regular Nalgene bottle you can put it in one of the shoulder pad pockets.
These are just cheap ozark trail polls. I think they cost me 20-30 bucks and they’ve worked great! I have a buddy that got some expensive one around the same time as I got these and he’s been through 2 pairs already.
