I love a pack that can do it all. Simple but super efficient. Top notch comfort and packs a punch! The ultimate whitetail hunters pack in my opinion. If you're on the fence about a new pack definitely watch this video before you buy!
I love my pop-up 28,I packed out a big public land doe with it last season and packing in my sticks and platform for saddle hunting is really nice with this pack! "Saddle hunters I highly recommend that you consider this pack"
The Pop up 28 is the best mobile pack out there so far. Gotta have a frame. Gotta have a meatshelf. And gotta have storage and organization. Great video as usual bro! Imma have to make mine with a spin now. 😂
I have a pop up 30 and a metcalf 50 I just got. Will probably use the pop up with the narrower frame unless it gets really late season and I need to pack in layers. I will say the pop up is probably the best bet. The full size frame will probably be cumbersome in a tree. And go for a solid color. Got a deal on the subalpine, and regret it. It’s hard to see the straps even up close on it.
Picked one up on camofire for 189, been eye balling and couldn't pass that price up. I will most likely use my C.A.Y.S. until all day sits start , then transition to this pack from then until end of season.
Just a heads up, the “pop up” feature is designed to help transfer weight off your back/shoulders. Will make hauling loads easier than using it with no load lift.
Do you like the Popup 28 more then the Pintler you did a review of a year ago? I’m wondering if the Popup would be big enough for my Sitka Fanatic jacket when the temps drop?
OK so here's the deal I have the same jacket and I was also worried. I put my jacket in a waterproof bag and actually pack it to the frame, along with my stick. It works but the pintler would be better for layers for sure
That’s an awesome bag. I did electric work for a little over 15 yrs. I work for Trane now as a senior control technician. I’m actually working on the Tennessee/Kentucky border doing a big job at Obion County Schools. I’ve been up there for a little over a yr now. I noticed the Klein bag, I haven’t seen many leather ones like that. Keep up the hard work on the channel!
@@do3outdoors741 thanks a bunch! Im 5’11 195 with 33” waist….wondering if large is the move or it would be too big. Should be okay id imagine from looking on the chart
@@do3outdoors741 I've gotten to use it a bit and like it a lot. Carries well, plenty of space, doesn't even feel like it's there and you can really move pretty quickly if you need to with it on. Only things I don't like is the lack of organization and the material is really, really loud. I added a forager pouch to help with organizing. I also use a Easton hinsch 700 framed lumbar pack. You can't hardly get them anymore and I just picked on up used for a backup. If I'm not going very deep or have atv/truck access I'll use the hinsch anything else it's the pop up.
